It would be interesting to know how many guns , weapons are own by people in this country ..everyday is shooting and killing over a beer or a love affair .... It seems Thais lose their temper very quick .... the land of smiles has became the land of guns

well driving to Sattahip very often and using sukhumvit road mostly I can tell , some people think this road is a formula 1 racing track, 2 of my friends had an accident there because a truck pass on intersection when the light was red , a Russian guy opposite ambassador hotel has been killed by fast car , its everyday ..... so often I have seen people racing on this road between Sattahip and Na jomtien . So many time I have seen pedestrian running and crossing anywhere ..... so I am not surprise ....If drivers were a bit more careful and drive slower , many accidents could be avoided.

Bangkok traffic police to become 'smart' ?????? Really ? why ? they were stupid before ? I am quite happy with those new technology but before that ...why did they watch the traffic ? Lets hope the 4 to 6 minutes or sometime more waiting at intersection will disappear soon ......

Sorry but as a sailor , when you drive a speed boat you usually see what's in the front .. either one boat driver or the other one ....for 2 boats to crash together would mean ..heavy fog or big storm ... knowing the water around its for sure lack in knowledge of marine safety and regulation ...well nothing to ad when you see the mess on roads ..the mess is now on water ... how many tourists must die because of stupid people ? that is not fair ....

Well they should do that campaign demo 1st January to 31st December in the whole country as Bangkok also has his share of crazy drivers , in my area it's easier to count those with helmets , look in Vietnam , everybody is wearing helmets and there are much more motorbikes there. The problem is many people here think they are above the law, talking on the phone when driving , never put safety belt etc ..... If the police stop you , easy , just give them a bit of money . It works all the time.

They do controls all the time on buses or trucks for years ...nothing has changed so far ...... and I dont think anything will ever change ... I am ready to bet .

while they non stop blablabla blablabla Laos is getting 4 G ..... I call that a slap in the face of Thailand .

Cannot remember when an immigration officer talked to me on arrival ..they look passport and stamped ... ok I go in and out all the time and my passport is full of stamps , honestly no need to engage conversation specially with long queue. Usually they would say what hotel you stay ...and that's it .

what about street race for cars ? the other day a Porshe cayenne and Mercedes was racing on the toll way ...more than 180km/hour for sure ....

There are already too many Grand Prix around the world ...it seems everybody want his GP .... on my opinion its wasting tax money , refurbish the current roads would be a better challenge. Unless a GP will develop for Thais a very good skill in driving ... yeah we can dream !!!!
