Simply put, the world of travel is not well designed for older, frailer people. Disabilities seem to get some substantial help.... but some of the walks and queuing at the gate would be too much nowadays.

Well Pattaya has changed somewhat since 7 years ago, big shopping malls, underpass, no power poles, profusion of cannabis shops and coffee shops, a move to on-line ways of obtaining companionship, and the Covid created demise of a lot of nightlife, and a very nice beach now! Still paving the promenade though... some things do not change!

I do more clumsy and absent minded things these days in Pattaya... I had been struggling with road crossings anyhow, after an ankle injury caused by missing tiles on the pavement.... that injury was on the mend until Sunday when someone popped out of a doorway and yelled 'massage' in my ear, and I sidestepped into another hole due to a missing pavement tile. I need to buy a clown suit!

He has been sentenced to 8 years in jail..... let him at least be treated similarly to others with a similar sentence. If there are reasons not to, like ill health, let it be dealt with openly.
