  1. Most people are speed mad.... and yet connect via Wi-Fi, the ISP speeds can only be attained using a class 6 Ethernet hard wire.
  2. Pretty sure there isn't one, nor has there been for a long time. OP... go to a TT Exchange, they change both ways..... https://ttexchange.com/exchange-rate
  3. They set it up in 2017....and it was allowed to happen, maybe even voted for.
  4. Yes it sounds that way, but you are making a strawman to detract from the comment made. I found average USA people to be lacking in that respect too. One asked me 'Is it Winter in England too now?'....
  5. My Mrs kept chicks for a spell... it isn't as straightforward or easy as one might expect. They have a limited productive (laying) life and the wild dogs get them twice a year!
  6. Like insurance, one buys and chases the cheapest at time of purchase, to regret later if things go awry.
  7. I kind of believe they work in cahoots, very much so.......
  8. Yep, keep dragging my hose pipe out to top up my little pool..... not annoying the neighbours by pumping excess down the street.
  9. Or for those who don't want to go fumbling in their pockets for their phone... and maybe, just maybe, for those who do not carry a mobile.
  10. One has to form a government first and that has to be done under the existing rules. A right stitch up!
  11. When he was in power, I recall seeing great optimism in the average Thai people....not only in rural areas, but those in Pattaya.
  12. Not sure that applies in the strange culture of Thailand..... an abstention is probably close to a no vote... but loses less face for the person making the vote, and the recipient, than a NO vote. In a culture avoiding the confrontation, it fits. Sadly it being counted as against appears wrong.... That constitutional amendment a few years back, was a clever stitch up,
  13. RU saying this is what happens in the UK these days or elsewhere? Certainly used to be the landlord's job in the past.
  14. Don't you get a little embarrassed wheeling out that little bit of irrelevant nonsense over and over. People were made to look foolish saying that 3 or so years ago.
  15. Doesn't appear you can even write it comprehensibly yourself!
  16. True enough,,,, the dead have no voice, they just leave behind people who forget them.
  17. Yep, tell that to the nearly 7million it killed!
  18. Although the UK makes trivial stuff like tittle tattle into the main headline rather too often....
  19. Heck no..... other charges and convictions stand. He got 5 for holding phone shares (Shin Corp).
  20. Picking up those colonial ideas eh?
  21. Then you did rather poorly....perhaps using a UK foreign bank /ATM card, because my records show the exchange rate for June (SCB TT Rate) varied between 42 and 44+ for June 2023...lowest I saw was 42.71 on 1st June... Source
