  1. The motorbike place near me always pumps tyres up to super rock hard.... blew my damned guage apart when I tried to measure them.
  2. My Mrs family live in rural Korat, (40km due south of Nackon Ratchasima) and they had plenty rain,
  3. Surely this is not a serious commentary.
  4. Oh well, six day holiday coming up, let's look at it again after that!
  5. Sold, I was told. Saw them on Sukhumvit at the top of Threppasit.....
  6. Sent the Mrs out to the couple of 7-11s near me, Meiji not available, but had Dutch Mill.
  7. I recall the old one at the Beach Rd Thrappaya corner..... wasn't that popular.
  8. My Mrs walks around with an umbrella all the time... except when it rains!
  9. Any place selling tyres will do balancing. As to alignment, I got it done inclusive when I bought 4 new tyres at a Maxxis. This one actually...
  10. Yes, had a few myself......watch out for UPS's!
  11. On his other hand too.....
  12. Which does not light up even on live wires if you are not actually grounded at the time... this can be the case up ladders.
  13. So they work for the bank these guys who come round once a week and refuse to take off their motorcycle helmets?
  14. It makes me concerned over the so called security Android offers if it allows an APK to be loaded, transferring control of a phone elsewhere. I see no reason for that.
  15. I was thinking about this only yesterday when a local surprised me with a 'Good Morning'..... Most Pattaya Thais are not locals... we get a heavy smattering of Bangkok visitors and they bring that big City rudeness. Pattaya Thais are nice enough but usually hoping to make money out of you........ When I first came to Thailand and toured a lot, I found Northern Thais to be the nicest, very friendly, followed by Eastern/Central, but quite okay around Korat, not to be trusted furthest East... and Southerners seemed stand-offish.
  16. Oh for the want of a tester!
  17. Agreed.... too many claim that things in Thailand will 'never change'.... that their apathy and corruption is ingrained... well here we see the younger educated generation think differently, and that is the way forward, to get rid of the old school and introduce younger, cleaner minds.
  18. It's beginning to look like whoever is in power will have a platform based on doing nothing much at all.
  19. It is possible he had the other hand on the steps too. I am betting he had flip-flops on if any footwear.
  20. And we have a picture of Walking Street. Which is rather far to go if you have a flight that evening. I am rather perplexed by this topic... as far as I know we do not have any entertainment venues near to U-Tapao airport, I also have concerns with the concept of having Go-Go Bars and beer bars available for those waiting for their flights..... on-board incidents will increase rather a lot. Just a filler topic?
  21. Steady rain for 2 days in Pattaya area, not heavy though... still it was about 4 inches or more. I said to the Mrs we don't get the swarms of termites after the first rains like we used to, and an hour or two later I was rushing to close doors and windows as they swarmed for any lit opening.
  22. What are promises in politics........
