Lawyer Not Afraid Of Senators Suing Him For Defamation

Thai Banks are Starting to Require Facial Recognition for High-Value Transactions
Yes, and I also prefer to go directly to the airlines... I have had issues before when things have to change with tickets bought through agents. ( If you need not make changes, or need a leg refunding, yes usually fine).

Most People Still Prefer Pita For PM Regardless Of How Long It Takes: NIDA Poll
Going through the motions.... I would rather they did that than appoint an old guard guy. A second round of voting might create a reaction that foments change.

Senator threatens online critics with defamation lawsuit after ‘cancel’ campaign
No doubt fawned over from cradle to their current, near grave like, condition.

Magazine ranks Thailand 9th best retirement spot on Earth
I have heard positive wrt Portugal and Costa Rica... there are large numbers of Europeans retired in Spain too. If it was just about cost of living Cambodia and PI would get a mention...... Thailand just has a good mix of a lot of factors.

Senator threatens online critics with defamation lawsuit after ‘cancel’ campaign
I of course have no problem with libel laws of the type we are familiar with in the West... the difference wrt defamation is it can be completely and utterly true.

Senators who abstained from voting told to quit, coalition parties told to stay together
Part 1. Prior to a new Senate being established, could the lower house get a PM selected, appointed and up and running? Part 2. Does a new Senate alone have the power to push through a new constitutional amendment? Part3: Same as 2.

Thailand Expects to Welcome 1.6 Million Indians This Year
You should get out more... they wander about looky loo style. Sniffing at the doors but timid to try and enter........

Pita ready to step aside if his party fails to win senators’ hearts
So this cannabis thing is the 3rd most important issue to you, thankfully you don't get a vote.

Thai Anti-Corruption Commission Reveals Asset Details of Former MPs Thammanat and Chad

Crackdown ordered on organised crime in Pattaya, stricter visa screening after Ralter Mack murder
It doesn't really change...... last time we did have 'change' it made things a bit more difficult and pushed people in the direction of using agents......

Crackdown ordered on organised crime in Pattaya, stricter visa screening after Ralter Mack murder
The agent and the guy they pay off in immigration... possibly someone at the bank too.

16-year-old Thai Street Racer Races Away from Chonburi Police and Crashes into Minivan
He brought them upon himself surely though....... and potentially it could have been worse, he could have hit others, had a pillion passenger.....(or 3).... Public roads are not meant to be racetracks for bored kids.

Buying US $ in the Pattaya area
This guy is going to Cambodia and could be going overland...and specifically posted in a Pattaya Forum.... but good thought for others.

Crackdown ordered on organised crime in Pattaya, stricter visa screening after Ralter Mack murder
Since I have spent the last 18 years here perhaps I should either get a pass, or a check from the Thai police? I bet there are more tourists with criminal pasts coming in!

German expat in Thailand faces death penalty for premeditated murder
Dear me, are you baiting someone from Liverpool?
-
Senators who abstained from voting told to quit, coalition parties told to stay together
And please help me..... what then would the process be to select a PM? Could it go ahead without a Senate, taking votes only from the lower house, or would we have to have a new Senate selected first?

Myanmar crisis exposes gaps in Thai care for migrant children
One of the better Sky (UK) reporters has spent a month there (Stuart Ramsay) and I am keen to catch that report.

TAT Promotes Thai Soft Power via Tourism Booster Shot Campaign
Or they could consider subsidizing the flights, perhaps cutting tourist flight landing charges, airport taxes etc. Rather than attempting to get another tax approved......
-
Senators who abstained from voting told to quit, coalition parties told to stay together
But they did vote... they voted 'Abstain', they were not marked absent. The tragedy is that their votes are even required... and that abstention carries the same result as a NO vote. It's a stitch up.
