  1. It counters the actions of some that do less natural and dishonest things.
  2. After which, he marched smartly back to his office, went in, locked the door, and was not seen or heard of again all day......rumour has it that there is an escape hatch in there.
  3. The deluded ones are the deniers or conspiracy believers to me.
  4. Millions....... and where are those tucked away?
  5. Some people just don't like to hear positive news as per the headline......not quite ready to accept they have been deluded for 2-3 years!
  6. The comment I replied to claimed 'No other road in Pattaya has such nonsense' which is not true....North Rd has it's own problems, too many lights, too much traffic and parking blocking lanes. Threppasit is quite wide and could have some turn slip-roads if parking was restricted more. Trying to please everyone isn't going to happen. I have been avoiding Threppasit for near 2 years now, always got work going on there!
  7. Kept checking the radar and nothing, stayed dry and too darned hot here. Heavy rain over at her mother's in Korat though.
  8. I do hope these EVs aren't another Betamax!
  9. Should be returned to face justice... otherwise what is the point of policing!
  10. Since 2015...... when I turned 60. Haven't really needed it since then either.
  11. That is the ridiculous and obviously naïve scenario that was presented to them. India may well have come a long way since I was last there... but I doubt finding cheap, unskilled labour is difficult there, requiring the import of expensive room cleaners. .
  12. The news here is that there is a parking building in Naklua... judging by the streets one would not think so!
  13. Me and my lady did some extensive tours of Thailand prior to settling here, near Pattaya (not Jomtien). A few places were better, but far too touristy and priced accordingly, Others just a little too quiet and isolating for me as a foreigner. Of course Mrs wants me to move to her home village which to me would be purgatory.
  14. Or you yourself were suckered in to responding like a right plonxxx......
  15. Probably a reserved occupation.......for Thais with limited English ability.
  16. Transferred, that is unbelievable, surely sacked and prosecuted.
  17. Doesn't look like he is in a hotel to me as well... more like the back of a pickup.
  18. Do the Salvation Army still offer accommodation for the homeless?
  19. I would expect that there are such codes..... Some older hotels were built way back when such codes were not evident, and most of the locals were under 5 ft tall.
