Aren't baht busses just pickups?

They seem to drive dogs nuts.... had 3-4 dogs trap one up a palm tree behind the house, made a racket.

Agreed, had a bigger one in my garden recently. As we see here, they can move incredibly fast... wouldn't like a swipe from the tail neither.

Well a local can do this quite easily and probably cheaply...... I bet many Western men put off visiting a doctor though.

I have never regarded UTP as 'Pattaya' airport. It is simply rather too far off and I always remember the old situation of trying to get to and from there by Sukhumvit, which was hopeless..... It perhaps suits those who have settled in Na Jomtiem of Huay Yai... Topic isn't about the types of tourists in Pattaya, but some soapbox warriors always come along.

Yes, but only within Thailand which is basically pickup, arrived at airport facility in transit and then it's lost. Someone once posted you can track within UK on the GPO registered system, but I didn't try it. If you really want to be on top of it, courier at +2000 baht!

I shop early and minimally......and can usually use the under 10 items checkout... moving would put me behind the guy shopping for the hospital.

I dropped a letter off at Mailbox Inc (or whatever in Big-CX) which took about 5-6 daus to UK using Thai Post registered, I think it was a few hundred baht.
