  1. Aren't baht busses just pickups?
  2. They seem to drive dogs nuts.... had 3-4 dogs trap one up a palm tree behind the house, made a racket.
  3. Topic isn't about taxis......read the OP!
  4. They have boots... baht buses do not. Where is the tank (s) located? Minivans sure are safe... https://www.thaiexaminer.com/thai-news-foreigners/2023/01/22/fiery-death-of-11-in-lng-fuelled-mini-van-nakhon-ratchasima/
  5. Oh yes, waiting for the news of that mishap with tourists being burned alive!
  6. Agreed, had a bigger one in my garden recently. As we see here, they can move incredibly fast... wouldn't like a swipe from the tail neither.
  7. Similar reasons they are in some other countries I suppose.
  8. I was just pondering as to whether it was due to the mental state of cops generally, or how a gun is available to them.
  9. So, are they looking at the fault line in the picture? A bit of pointing would help!
  10. I see a lot of vehicles with illegible and faded number plates anyhow......
  11. Well a local can do this quite easily and probably cheaply...... I bet many Western men put off visiting a doctor though.
  12. I have never regarded UTP as 'Pattaya' airport. It is simply rather too far off and I always remember the old situation of trying to get to and from there by Sukhumvit, which was hopeless..... It perhaps suits those who have settled in Na Jomtiem of Huay Yai... Topic isn't about the types of tourists in Pattaya, but some soapbox warriors always come along.
  13. Hottest June on record was it not?
  14. And on to the Homepro just beyond there on Sukhumvit too.
  15. I would move to another location if I had!
  16. Far too smart an idea for them......
  17. Yes, but only within Thailand which is basically pickup, arrived at airport facility in transit and then it's lost. Someone once posted you can track within UK on the GPO registered system, but I didn't try it. If you really want to be on top of it, courier at +2000 baht!
  18. I shop early and minimally......and can usually use the under 10 items checkout... moving would put me behind the guy shopping for the hospital.
  19. Yes, someone in front of me was a bit slow in Big-C, I was ready with my cash!
  20. I dropped a letter off at Mailbox Inc (or whatever in Big-CX) which took about 5-6 daus to UK using Thai Post registered, I think it was a few hundred baht.
