I am considering buying a new computer , desk top. I am not a technical person. The one suitable for me has a few available. Both very similar but the one with 65 watt is more expensive than the 35 watt one, otherwise they are more or less the same. I did an AI search which suggests that for routine computer work , emails and watching movies etc 35 watt is ok for me. Grateful for any input here before I decide... Thank u in advance.

Don't you get tired of fear mongering
homeseeker replied to Harrisfan's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Don't you get tired of fear mongering: like those on this forum who tried to frighten those retirees living in Thailand that they needed to pay Thai tax when the reality is most do not need to do so. (according to what the Thai tax offices around Thailand have told them) -
A few days ago, i almost lost my Android phone but recovered it from a decent shop where I had foolishly left it due to absentmindedness. Anyway, just suppose I did lose my Android phone and unluckily it was not recovered though it is protected with a password. Now I also have a tablet which I keep at home and has its own phone number. So, if my phone is lost: can I get AIS (used for phone and tablet) to transfer any calls and messages including on my Line account from my phone to my tablet? I have bank activity which I use on my phone. This includes overseas bank namely Revolut. Can that be transferred from my phone to my tablet? What I am asking therefore is : can any or all activities and Apps be transferred from my phone to my tablet? Many thanks for any help!

Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside
homeseeker replied to CharlieH's topic in Thailand News
Many thanks your helpful reply. Nevertheless, and currently, I am minded to move as scheduled. I have it in written form that the building is safe. If that proves incorrect, I can take action against the landlord for what I hope will be substantial damages. If after I move in the building collapses, I hope to not be at home! 😗 -
Earthquake Rocks Bangkok: Building Collapses with 40 people inside
homeseeker replied to CharlieH's topic in Thailand News
I am scheduled to move and rent a low rise apartment in Silom after Songkran. (deposit paid contract not signed ) The owner says: "after further inspection no damage after assessment. All structure is sound and unaffected. Our low rise building is safe to accommodate" I have messaged some acquaintances in same area who say no damage where they stay. I am minded moving in as per agreement. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? -

Thai PM Srettha Axed Over Controversial Cabinet Appointment
homeseeker replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Bye bye....not only to the PM but also to the 10,000 baht hand outs and the ideas to try to impose taxes on foreigners on their pensions etc. -
For medical reasons my doctor advised me to stay out of the sun. However, In my apartment I like to have a lot of natural light coming in through the net curtains. Is this ok...or will the natural light be harmful to me like sunlight?

I am back into my original account as this time as was able to use my tablet number to unfreeze my account and now i can get into Lazada on my PC.(Previously I was unable to do that) I needed to enter my phone number (from my tablet) to do the unfreeze. When I entered my tablet number, they sent me a code which I entered and that unfroze my account. So I assume anyone can unfreeze if the use another mobile number to get in to unfreeze the account. I presume can use someone else's mobile number to do the unfreeze. The unlock code will be sent to that number. Whilst I needed a different mobile number to do the unfreeze the record still shows my mobile number as my Lazada contact number. Why is this so complicated?? Answer= TiT
-
Sent a PM to you though no reason really as I see it for their email to be anything other than in the public forum
-
From earlier chats with them they sent me an email to which i could send the screen shot ps seems those that can unfreeze their accounts seem to be those that use their phone for Lazada. Other like myself using my PC cannot do this...
-
Yes i got the same message and it does not explain how to complete the unfreezing process...(see my message above re that) and agree nothing has changed. I use my PC to do transactions on Lazada. I sent a screen shot to Lazada asking them to explain the latest log in message...
-
They open at 8.00am so if you phone them at opening time then less than 30 minutes waiting. I agree what you say re multiple accounts. Though If you have a tablet with a different phone number u can use that number.
-
OK well assume then once mine is sorted, always will also be fixed. Thats assuming they can fix it.
-
To answer your question no idea. If u have been blocked better u call them to make sure it's on their records u been wrongly blocked and they should fix it. (I agree what you say about not being able to use same Phone number.)
-
Latest: I called Lazada again today Tuesday. They say they working on it. And have apologized again. They conceded "not my fault" Problem their system. I sent as requested a screen shot of saying my account closed. I asked about me having more than 1 account: no problem "can have multiple accounts"
-
Well phoned Lazada this morning and still not fixed. They sent an email as follows: "Thank you for contacting us this time. Lazada received the request number ***************** Your request is now under investigation. Lazada apologizes once again for the inconvenience this experience has caused you. We truly appreciate your valuable time, patience and understanding. Your satisfaction holds the highest importance to us. If in doubt You can ask for more information at our customer service department."

Thx to all for trying to help/ The problem arose on my PC. I did try to log in on my Tablet which said my account frozen and I needed to enter a new mobile number. But that too was met with a message "too many attempts try later" Seems glitches in their system or whatever so i await to try to speak to Lazada on Monday. ( I can use a different account with different email)
-
I tried to log into Lazada today and got the message as per the above heading. I tried to phone them but they say only available Monday to Friday. Its Saturday today. I order a lot thru Lazada and never cancelled. I will try contact them on Monday... but anyone have the same issue? As far as I know i did nothing to cause cancellation. Thx any ideas.
