  1. Yes, if it happened in Queensland Australia all 3 cops would have drawn their guns and shot him dead! The AFP might not carry leathal weapons at Queensland airports but the Qld Police at Brisbane International airport sure do. Thankfully the bystanders didnt see a traumatic killing at Don Mueang airport.
  2. Mmmm wonder why you house had not been lived in for 3 1/2 years? Just joking.
  3. A dose of King Cobra venom can kill 20 people. Good luck lady. Hope to hear a happy follow-up. Purely by the way, King Cobras are not really a Cobra :- "king cobras are Ophiophagus hannah while cobras are members of the Naja genus" "....the king cobra is the sole member of the genus Ophiophagus. It is distinguishable from other cobras by its large size and neck patterns. The name “king cobra” stems from its ability to kill and eat cobras." still the same:- If it looks like one, acts like one, bites like one:- LOOKOUT. ????
  4. Sorry bro, so much empathy and caring advice out here hey. A bit more:- if she hasn't always been like that, and its not menopause? or not on drugs?. the psycho conditions others have suggested are possibles but Borderline Personality Disorder is often bought on by abandonment at an early age and covers a range of chronic mental challenges. If that scenaro is just surfacing due to say marriage/financial instabilities, nothing helps calm these random non-menstrual rages lasting 1 to 3 days. Staying calm yourself is essential. Beware:- attempts to abandon a relationship as suggested by others (if B.P.D) will exacerbate an already "stark raving insane psychotic episode" to an almost murderous level, especially during an episode and even an announced proposed abandonment can bring one on in 3 minutes. Hope for you it doesnt get worse before it gets better but do seek professional psycho advice? "Dammed if you do (leave) and dammed if you dont" was surely coined by the spouse of a BPD person.
  5. A bit of a puzzle? How come two quite different pics? from the same incident? Or does this mean from the photo archives there's been more than one failure? The upper picture looks like a clean CO2 extinguisher. The lower pic was reported from the article about a 20kg "gas cylinder" then referred to it a a "fire extinguisher" at what sounds like the same incident? Looks like a powder extinguisher or is that ice from the freezing of released CO2? No wonder Almer wrote "I am easily confused, was it a gas cylinder or a fire extinguisher.? " Regardless, a life has been sadly lost.
  6. HappyExpat57 relates :- Same thing with scuba cylinders. They have to be stress tested on a regular basis, and if they fail, a big ol' hole is drilled into the side to avoid this very kind of thing. Good safety advice, and even then impatient newbies might need to be wary (apart from the fracture-testing danger) of a drilling proceedure if done on a leaking nearly-full cylinder. Stranger tragic things have happened e.g. when an 1/8 inch hole was nearly completed near the end of a Japanese torpedo to release the compressed air, a bigger hole exploded and projected it 100+ metres and killed the driller. So sad about the departed Thai innocent student and bystanders.
  7. Looked again at the pic and noticed how tall the person is and the woman presenting them with flowers might not be so happy with the judges decisions. "Where have all the Thai beauties gone? long time passing" "Exported to other countries? long time ago".
  8. Surprised when zooming in there seemed no adams apple. As Petermik said . Me too dear Nong Lak
  9. Sorry to hear about anyone suffering and its good that Phuket life savers are warning would-be swimmers. About 3 years ago the locals at Koh Samui ?? took down beach warning signs for tourists about the deadly box jellyfish there and an Australian tourist died.
  10. Good one Bendejo. ????. But what about the Crown Jewels someone above mentioned? ???? Seriously though.. showing off and losing just the gold necklaces would surely be well known? Yup, "Your worst enemy is your ignorance."
  11. So sad and It seems even slow speed traffic doesnt stop at zebra crossings.
  12. Have you heard ?? "Thai Chi" has quite a bit of "kick" in it. ???? ???? Poot len len. Just joking. Not as funny as the play on words in the title "Urine luck".
  13. Maybe about time someone got even with the Chinese for all the lies about their on-line products and how they offer refunds or somehow compromise so as not to get bad reviews. For me I give 5 stars. Durian would surely have either 1 star or 5 star ratings anyway and very few in between. Love em or hate em and yes as others have pondered, how on earth could you fake a Durian?
  14. So the cop celebrated his transfer and shot the vendor?? Ok then, the vendors thumb is usable and so would be his trigger finger? So why not give him the cops gun to give the cop what he gave out, and would save the government 25 years of prison costs? Then give the injured vendor a decent payout now from the projected savings? Business is business, and let the punishment fit the crime.
