  1. But... They had already one helmet, and two parents chose to ride the E.Scooter!!! Read the fine print in the story, just like he should have read and obeyed the fine print of the insurance policy.
  2. Yes Lou say it like it is and cop this:- E.Scooters are the scourge of pedestrians and riders worldwide. France has banned them? Only one helmet and mum got it? Tragic that two boys might lose that dad who made the stupid decision for either of the 2 parents to use an E. S. No sympathy for anyone who knows about many existing worldwide tragedies, then gets on an E. Scooter, anywhere! and now this tragedy. Would he have worn a helmet anyway? even with added bike insurance or not? Irresponsible kids? no, irresponsible parents, but hope he survives, is normal, and feel for the poor kids.
  3. Agree. and so sad to have to use the last resort of a "picture that is supposed the be worth 1000 words" against her employer. She is very savvy, but even then will justice happen even with video proof? Land Of S#it
  4. Farcical Topic:- "Thaksin’s future still in the balance" Ha ha ha, the scales are not balanced but very much tipping his way.
  5. Mai mi pun ha. Not a problem. Has the cat has been purposely let out of the bag?, better now than later?, dont sweep it under the carpet, pardons are the go right now so clear his name with yet another, and get back to business as usual of up and up, so its back on track and lets get "back to the future". Is anyone really surprised?? L.O.S. happily used to mean "Smiles" but now it rhymes with "Sit"
  6. Beautiful coloured patterns in that grass photo.. Looks closer to 5 metres. Pythons are about the only kind of snake I admire but give that one half a chance and it could hug you to death.
  7. Yes, agree with OneMoreFarang, and the consequences are now happening even with adopted children into "proper families" (Husband and wife) when as teenagers they can sense something is not biologically in order and usually gets sorted out. But.... having two same sex "guardians" unfairly puts a boy or girl child into:- 1. not having both a mummy and a daddy to relate to, 2. not having a role model to be either a mother or father or 3. no role model how to be a spouse in a proper family, or 4. Imagine a littl girl feeling the odd one out at school and crying "I havent got a mummy like you have ", or vice verca a liitle boy with no daddy, or the two more variations in that sad saga. So then bullying just compounds the poor children's disaster. How bloody cruel can selfishnesss get.!!! and NOTHING anyone says in this forum could ever convince another humane human that same sex adoptions or surrogacies are humanely justified. But watch this space, they'll try. The poor victims have no say in the matter and can, and is, severely affecting their life because already they are speaking up against people playing "God" so to speak. OneMoreFarang also said- "handicapped". Oh yeah ! Surrogacy for the "benefit" of same sex "marriages" is the most utterly selfish abomination, working totally against nature, and now is a hot topic in many countries that was bound to happen as a legal wedge after same sex marriages. but:- If any of them want to live with each other, let them do it.
  8. Sirineau, that was a whole lot of encouraging info and wondering why was this was not great? > " I had a 6 meter platform that i used in the past but the pleasure was not Great," Anything to do with the shower head? handy hint to remember:- with just 8psi from your former 6 metre head, there's a shower rose designed with very fine holes. Makes a huge difference. Theres lovely "TopsFlo" 12v or 24v brushless, magnetically coupled pumps, non summersible, a 12 metre head and run very nicely from a couple of 12v solar panels. A compact boat's bilge pump switch with its float, mounted at the tank top can be turned upside down to stop the pump when a tank is full. Re hose nozzles, regardless of your former 6 metre head versus new pumps, check out Holman's 1/2 inch metallic nozzle. Brilliant peformers. Half on is nice garden spray. The sandy environment sounds more encouraging than your first post but how about your ph level? There are cheap pairs of ph and TDS meters to monitor water. How bad can well water get? Have had lots of practical experience with water etc but little with wells.
  9. Yes I said it KhunLA, and good on ya for the figures above. Oz is not called "the sunburnt country" for nothing and there's a huge percentage of houses with solar panels and ever increasing huge solar and wind turbine farms already in operation, and being installed.
  10. Dont know where you get that info. Reports out of Australia say there is an incredible growth of EV sales.
  11. Yes, agree sir Sirineou, and theres probably much more coal used to make I.C.U vehicles, with their many more components, which in turn go on to spew emissions in Bkk etc, for the rest of their life. Then the detractors will have objections e.g .... what about the power needed to charge the E.V.'s? Go solar to charge the EV as I do, and increasing others, and let it happen at national level too. The EV subject was done to death on a recent topic in ASEAN NOW. Scares about power outages being bandied out there? good, this will evolve towards more alternative power. Watch that space.
  12. Sirineou, sorry but there are are many facts needed before you can expect constructive answers that could save you many baht and lost time and effort. Is there dubious run off surface water entering the well? Why is the water so dirty? any idea as to the underground up-stream water source? if it happend to be in a subteranian basin? Have you been pumping from too deep? Have you considered accessable water filter/s at the outlet to the tank at ground level, if they are elevated tank/s. Why use sedementation cleaning methods that surely involve occasional flushing? especially if water drops the 1 metre into an empty tank which stirs up the sedements? Are your tank/s elevated as header tanks? if so, how many metres of head pressure? Youll need minimum of about 8psi for showers and thats about 6 metres elevation, above the shower rose, and probably a float switch in the top of the tank if you want automatic filling from the well. 1000 litres is one tonne each if you need to construct a tower/s that high, Or do you need mains automatic water pressure? wont that mean a seperate pressure pump depending on the well extraction pump? Or are the tanks at virtually ground level so you dont have that much head available?. A well pump as a simple tranfer pump will need to be monitored when filling any tanks without a float switch in the tank, to stop it overflowing. Have you had the water tested for drinking considerations? Curious as to what is the measured ph level? After these considerations above, does it seem there are some basic priorities precedeeding pump considerations?
  13. Rather confusing info sorry.. I have an 1 rai property I bought as an investment , But below you say you are renting? need lots more relevant info alround. In the property I have a two room structure with a bathroom that I use mainly for storage. Why is that relevant? Do you Americans mean bathroom or a toilet? I have watering straight from the well. which is a pain. Why exactly? but I have been told that it is not a good idea to water straight from the well , what particular information? what "expert" said that? aside from being a pain and not good for the submersible pump, why? the PH of the water is not good, what is the actual ph reading? and that I should water from a tank. Did "someone else" mean a rain water tank? because not much will change just transferring well water to a tank. You are going to need a first pump to get it into a tank anyway? So I got two 1000 litter litre tanks. First tank will be used as a settling tank which will be a bit higher from the second tank. The first tank will be connected to the second tank 2/3rds or half way up of the way to the second tank to get get clean water. If it is muddy? it will settle to the bottom of the first tank and if the outlet is not right at the bottom, or a "L" connection inside tank is used, you wont be sucking sludge with what would need to be a second pump?, but if your usage is great and the incoming water stirs it up every time you add water to the tank. But isnt the overall sceme flawed because unless your tank is up on a stand, or up a hill, you will need those 2 pumps. If it doesnt get stirred up, an outlet tap right at the bottom could occasionally facilitate releasing mud if you can shut off outlet to the second pump that feeds the house, then stirr the mud and empty with the release tap. Some pumps specify clean water only and a pressure switch diaphram would prefer clean water? I described all the above for any opinion and or advice , Not described well sorry. But here is the question. I know very little about automatic pumps. Of course I know , wats , pressure, and That Hitachi or Mitsubishi is a good choice. But as I said this is not my home, but you said you bought it? so I was thinking for something less expensive. Youve spent too much on a flawed tanks concept as above. So I look on Lazada and see all these pumps I never heard of (Canto etc) , probably made in China, that advertise 350W and are half the price of the band name pumps . what do I need to know? quite a bit, sorry to say. Well water can be unsuitable for human consumption, and even just the ph level alone has several reasons, had it checked for bacteria? as above why the need for 2 tanks for "cleaning"?, if someone told you the ph level is so bad for a pump then why trust it to drink?. My permanent submersible pressure pump is in slightly alkalaine rain water tanks for many years. It is not quite at the bottom. Acidic ph water can increase the need about a sacrificial anode in a hot water tank, are your tanks plastic or Galvanised iron? Why does your particular well water need settling? if its muddy are you pumping too deep from the bottom of the well? how deep anyway? what is the source? is it "down stream" from next doors septic system? P.S. I'm not an "expert" (former spurt) as in your last posted question, but am a drip under pressure. and prefers not to mention that name "Trump".
  14. Yes Mike, here we go again, just standing back and watching/laughing another 10 pages of useless arguments, akin to people-watching in the soi?, but nothing will be achieved. Maybe its all about ads as someone suggested. B.T.W. did you hear that soi dogs will soon be required to wear underware? Now wont that start another 10 page brawl?
  15. Yes "dear" but just notice how we even get rubbished if we stand completely back from the subject only to observe/comment on their mentality and ravings. Point proven? Just watch.. 3 more days and it will be forgotten.
  16. Yes. Loving to argue about a load of rubbish to start with, and already 3 pages after 6 hours. Wait till your suggested 10 pages in about the usual 3 days and will all be forgotten and nothing achieved. The advertisements are probably more interesting ??
  17. Oh no!!! its a reality more than ever now for too many of those who started with consuming external substances e.g. Cannabis for:- emotional relief, dysfunctional family background, lack of self esteem etc, etc. then that drug (or maybe pharmacy gear?) becomes a psychological "gateway" to go stronger then stronger and the "addiction pit" progressively becomes steeper and deeper. The several hundreds I've worked with in the drug (and alcohol) rehab scene over many years would agree with the "gateway" syndrome as described above is NOT false propaganda and wished they had heard about that worthy motto :- "N.E.O. not even once". The ratio of addiction used to be about 20/80% D/A, but tragically that's probably reversed now.
  18. Bandersnatch said:- I drive my EV on excess solar power after I have powered my house and charged my solar batteries. I charge my EV from its dedicated panels and no battery is needed for that inverter*, whilst the house battery is charging from its own dedicated panels. *Dont trust the Queenswing inverter company claim that no battery is needed. I bet you love driving your EV too? Who cares much what they look like. and yes I took a picture at a supermarket park, not at Starbucks, but because 2 other EV parked beside mine.
  19. Thats close enough thankyou Brian. Any closer and one would most likely spew. Can almost make out the Adam's aple and remember tho old saying"- "Where there's an apple there is usually a banana".
  20. You beat me to it John. Amazing the priorities people have in life. Oh well each to their own. Is there a warning for tourists printed on entry to L.O.S.? Maybe the Chinese tourist though it would be a "chick magnet" and he attracted more than he bargained for. . "A fool and their money are soon parted".
  21. There are sooo many good curved designs for protective sunglasses and am surpised a doctor would first suggest just a hat which is better for protecting the ears and face but not the eyes. How about a decent pair of polaroids? Just for a smile, did you see pics of the 2 lady chinese? tourists who chose woven rice cooking baskets for a hat and were walking in a soi market place and oblivious about all the pics being taken.
  22. Dont be so short sighted. The day is coming when I.C.E. cars will also be likewise because fuel will be really short from barricades of certain fuel ships supplying certain nations by you know who. But then food shortages will be catastrophic too.
