Thais drive like freeform jazz musicians play music. Everyone is improvising all the time, but they're all playing together; the trick is to be aware of everyone else all the time.

Thais drive more like freestyle soloists. Doing whatever they (the individual) want, with scant regard for other road users, oblivious to everyone else . Major reasons why road accidents are statistically so poor . Not really so harmonious in effect.😁

What Thailand has not done is that their culture still respects elderly people, while in Europe an elderly person is the main license plate to be eliminated with low pensions at the limit of physical food survival, hoping that they will die soon.

Thailand is no different in this respect than other countries. The "younger" generation leaning towards entitlement as opposed to respect.

Why should I ask myself anything when I'm still waiting for an answer to the question that you don't have an answer for..."why do you claim that the TP have less expertise and maybe no jurisdiction"?   The onus is on you to justify that daft claim, not for me to try to find your answer.

Unfortunately I can't do your thinking for you.😀

No, I do not, I did not suggest that at all.  But you are avoiding justifying why you think the TP officers "have less expertise and  maybe no jurisdiction"!

Ask yourself why there are different departments under the RTP. if not to concentrate their efforts and experience in specific areas and you might find the answer.

What?  You seem to think that Tourist Police officers, who are regular RTP officers but in a specialist division, have less expertise and maybe no jurisdiction?  Why?   Or maybe you think that Tourist Police officers are just volunteers with no real powers.

Huh ?  You seem to think that they specialize in all areas. Immigration. crime suppression internet/cyber crime included?

that's not correct ....  the girls were under age and they know that but still proceeded to go into something illegal.  The parent just told them to go to Bangkok and get a job,   they didn't arrange the bar and hookers.

Doubt that, they were employed by a bar in Hua-Hin . As is often the case. the business would likely have some connection with the family or friends of the family.

Providing you no longer post offensive, inflammatory comments about an expat guy marrying a Thai nurse, then no need to quote you again.

Well. if you're really that sensitive then, bearing in mind that it was you who initiated the unnecessary, (and unfounded) name-calling. in response to my original comment, which anyone else could see was tongue in cheek !

That would be subjective. Falsely and publicly criticizing has consequences that can not be before hand

There is a saying " it is better to lose an eye than to lose your good name"

There is such thing a death from a thousand cuts. each  cut in itself is not serious, but collectively they can kill you.

So where do you start?  the first cut? the tenth?

but when you do ,you do it in such a way that you don't only stop that cut, because as we said , that cut in itself is not serious, but to also discourage  subsequent cuts.

Or you could just take the knife yourself and slash your wrists yourself. 😁
