  1. I suggest you research/google  "cinnamon as a anti inflammatory"   .I personally stopped using all my prescribed medications several years ago  in favour of taking Cinnamon every day (2 table spoons) ... it has little to no/zero side effects and for me has worked wonders .....

You may ask why is this not endorsed by the medical fraternity, the simple answer is there is no profit in it  for  the large multi national drug companies .

  2. Hello  Peeps .

looking  for a good local stainless steel fabricator South Pattaya/Bang Saray/Sattahip area that can make me a large sliding main gate (4m x 1.6m) and a side entrance gate (1,1 m x 1.6m) any personal recommendations would be appreciate and a rough Idea what I can expect to pay would be nice too .

    Cheers    stay safe ????

  3. I've been running my own RO system with a UV sterilizer for all my drink water needs for the past 6 yrs never had a problem to date  ( I do a quality  test once a week )  my drinking water is as pure if not better quality than most of the bottled waters on the market ...I would rather filter and test my own water  than  rely on a third person getting paid 300baht a day who doesn't really give a Sh&t once it leave the filtration plant ..

Only 400 baht to fit and balance 2 tires ?

That sounds like a pretty good deal. I didn't respond to your original post as the last time I had a tire changed, the little shop charged me about 500 baht to removed the wheel (from the bike), change the tire, re-install the wheel and then "balance" it (strictly be doing some measurements it seems). (It seems fine as I've gone on a couple long trips since then with no issues.)

The time before, I had my front tire done by a bigger shop who removed the wheel, sent it to another shop to have the tire changed and the wheel balanced, then reinstalled it on the bike. That cost was included in the total bill for the new tire so I have no idea what the changing/balancing cost.

Yeah! ฿ 400 for front & rear tires fitted and balanced a  very good price  (all done and dusted in less than 45 minutes)..... the next closest   was  JP Rider  who quoted me ฿ 500  . and Honda Bigwig was a whopping  ฿ 800

  6. Update  !    I went to  " i moto"  on the Sukhumvit  Nth Pattaya   and was very pleased with their efficient and friendly service .Front and rear tires fitted  and balanced (I supplied the tires)  and was happy with the ฿ 400 charge .

PS Honda Big Wing quoted  me  ฿ 800   for the same service.

  7. Hello Guys & Gals

I am looking to hook up with some fellow bikers (ADVs) who like to go off track from time to time . Nothing really technical just rough gravelly stuff and at sensible speeds I'm not looking for that “Dakar experience” .

If you are in the Chonburi/Pattaya/Rayong area and fancy a chat please feel free to private message me .

  8. Hello .. any new  updates or info for the protocol on New Years Eve / Countdown in Pattaya ...  I am leaving until last minute to book a hotel (still undecided) I don't want to waste my time or money if the only things on Pattaya's streets  is tumble weed blowing in the wind ...

  9. Hi All .....I can see a lot of Bangkokians wanting to come to Pattaya to Party and celebrate the New Year due to the cancellations of events in and around BKK. But  will Pattaya or central government restrict movement to slow down a possible second wave. ..Either way the outlook has just become  blinker for the recovery of Pattaya as a International holiday destination ...and now I can not see many tourist been allowed back into Thailand until the vaccine has been tried and tested and at least 80% of the populous having an immunity .

Stay safe .. and a Very Merry Christmas time to you all

I needed a harness for the GF's pit bull, but couldn't find anything suitable anywhere in Pattaya, pet shops or supermarkets or even Mr DIY. In the end I got it from Lazada, not expensive and great quality.

I needed a harness for the GF's pit bull  .. Is that a Metaphor  for your GF's  mother... lol  ....only joking not to be taken seriously

Agreed. I would never buy a condo or townhouse or even a single - family dwelling in town or densely occupied area for myriad reasons. There are literally thousands of such properties so no reason to buy one. The OP fancies a condo, so be it. I don't.

However, as you say, if you find the right location then you can truly have a home and not just a house. You can improve it and know you will benefit. Insulation, garden, deck, solar, outside shower, etc. Paint it how you want, remodel kitchens, bath, etc. You would never do that to property you don't own.

I now own a 3BR/2BA pool villa on 1 rai with a wall around it, surrounded on three sides  by pineapple fields with  99 year lease on the land, fully transferable if I sell. Dead end road with 3 houses including mine, each on a rai or more. It's 20 minutes from 3 hospitals and shopping centers in Huahin, 20 minutes from Sai Noi Beach outside Pranburi, but no traffic or noise at night. We swim nude day or night because there is simply nobody to observe or care if they did.  I walk through the pineapple fields early morning and seldom see more than a few people on nearby roads. For me it's a perfect balance of city/country life.

Is this uncommon property? Yes, it is, but it's not unique. You can find what you want if you spend the time looking.

I lived in a condo for 9 months when I first came, then a small rental house in Chaam for 2 years. I would never want either such lifestyle again. I refuse to settle for less than daily enjoyment of life just for the sake of renting.

    Everybody is different.

Yours Sounds very similar to mine... 3BR /2 br and swimming pool with built in jacuzzi spa . but mine's only134 wah ..in a small quiet secluded Moo Baan ..5 minutes to the nearest beach....plus my home has nearly double in value over the 12yrs .. and  most of the "for sale" properties sell within a year... It is true what they say it's all about '" LOCATION  LOCATION  LOCATION "

not sure what tradition but it seems you will have more choices of foreign food in Pattaya, then go for your ride... as noted above, unless you are looking for traditional Thai food..

I can drive the 20KM to Pattaya any day of the week to eat ....I just fancy a change of scenery and  venue .... There is life outside of Pattaya I have been told 555555
