I have seen a limited number of big bikes being washed at the Esso Garage cleaning shop, About 300 metres before the Che intersection with the 332, off Suk, left hand side as you go toward Sattahip. I get my car cleaned there each week and they are very professional. I can't speak about their knowledge of bikes but others seem to trust them. They are worth a chat at least. The older lady there runs the place, about 4 feet 10 inches tall, very friendly. I nearly said you can't miss her, but you could.
out of curiosity what does the little lady charge to wash your car ?

Out of curiosity . what day and time did you go through this process and how long did it take .. your response will be appreciated by me and I am sure others too.... PS did they give you proof that you applied and have an appointment to show the police if you get stopped?

AFAIAA motorbikes aren't allowed on motorways.
Can you please clarify what AFAIAA means ?

Prices of the tolls fees might be useful to travellers ... better to have the correct money ready and waiting when accessing or leaving the motorway ..
Plus will motorbike be free or charged at a lower rate ?

Hi Folks ... Any confirmation that Songkran is going ahead on the 4th to the 7th of September ? It's down on the internet as a public holiday ..Just wondering if it will be happening and if so will it be wet one ... or just a regular long weekend type of Thai national holiday .
Might be a nice songkran without all the stupid off their heads drunken tourists .. I might even partake in the festivities ...

It's sad to see and hear farang bar owners trying to put a positive spin on the situation .....they say one thing but there face and demeanour says something else ...they either have very very deep pockets or are in total denial of the facts in front of them ...
You can almost see the Daily News headlines in 6 months time " Yet another local business owner accidentally falls from his 32 floor Condo ".
It's now the "Law of the jungle" and only the fittests will survive ... Sad but true.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the town empty, over half the businesses shut down, many people out of work, traffic the lightest in decades, and parking the easiest in years, our local constabulary were out in force at 11 a.m. sharp this morning enforcing the one-side no parking restrictions on lower South Pattaya Road this morning.
Most the flights are flying at less than 1/2 capacity due to the China flu ...so with your logic you'd be quite happy to board and fly on a aircraft knowing that due to China flu the maintenance schedules has been halved or not done at all due to lack of numbers... Some jobs just have to be done . whether we like it or not ..

Stopped yesterday at a Ad Hoc road checkpoint ..... They checked my Thai Driving license asked me to blow into the Alcohol check machine ( negative) and then politely told to go only way ..with a"Have a nice day".
All done in a professional and courteous manner ... I am alway polite and smile and do as I am asked .. I have never had a problem .... If I know I have broke the law and given a ticket .. I take it on the chin like a man.. too many people have a downer on the Police just because that particular law at that particular time doesn't suit them ....

That shouldn't be a problem if was to a different account with the same bank.
You can provide more than one accounts details to meet the requirements.
However you may need to provide both sets of Passbooks/statements for each account and you should make clear to the bank that due to their error you will only pay for one statement (if applicable).
The standard letter, can incorporate all your account numbers and balances at no extra cost.
My branch do this as standard practice now due to past errors and having to issue new letters.
Thought I'd drive the 24 km to my local Immigration office ( Pattaya) to get a definitive answer to my situation .. and The lady who deals with the paperwork re:- Retirement extensions said ... As long as all the account involved are from the same bank and it all happened on the same day there is NOT problem ... Just bring all the bank books involved and copy of the pages in question ...
Just hope she does change her mind in the next 6 weeks lol
