  7. Hello friends . 8. Hi All...I am in need of some advice... I have just returned home from a long ride trip and to my horror when unloading my bike noticed that the Number plate which had my tax disc attached had vanished (not stolen they were there when I loaded up the bike this morning) ???? . I would like information about the procedure of replacing them ,the bike is Chonburi registered .. what paperwork will I need ? how long will it take to get them replaced ? and a rough idea of the charge involved would be nice ???? Many thanks in advance ????
  9. A spare of the moment decision . woke this morning at decided to book a ticket on today's (30th) sailing from Sattahip . ,The app is fairly simple to use and I got confirmation and a E Ticket back almost instantly . I used their LINE app the get some questions answered and again got responses back within 5 minutes ,, overall a good experience ... I will post a full review from arriving at the checking in desk to disembarking at Koh Samui and all things in between "warts and all"
  10. you take your own beer with you "Good man" lol . a bit off topic but can you take a motorbike on any of the ferry to Koh Lipe ? ( I know I am grasping at straws here lol)
  11. I know that in Touristy areas 7/11's will be selling beer ,, but I'll be in rural areas next to the Malaysia borders and staying in Thai resorts or lodgings but I will be in the Pak Bara area when starting to head back to my home ????
  12. With some of the Southern Provinces being predominantly Muslim I assumed that some 7/11's would refrain from selling alcoholic beverages due to peer pressure,
  13. That's the same all over Thailand ... can you shed any light on the non gas station 7/11's?
  14. Hello All ! I am doing a motorbike road trip around all the Southern provinces next week and a bit of local knowledge is needed .After a full day on the saddle I like a couple of beers to relax and unwind , my question is :- Do all the 7/11's in the southern provinces sell beer ? or is it a bit of a hit or miss affair? Cheers in advance ????????????
  15. Hi All . I am looking for a shop that recovers motorbike seats ...preferably South Pattaya or South of Pattaya heading towards Sattahip,, any recommendations would be appreciated... Cheers in advance ????

  17. It's just a Woke fest to polish the ego's of overpaid diva's who like to pontification to the masses . and tell us mere mortals to save the planet whilst they are jetting around the world in there private jets .
  18. So you'd be in favor of dual pricing of fines too non Thai nationals ?? Now that sounds like a good idea "NOT" ,,,, 99% of drivers in Thailand are Thai ..and 500baht is nearly double the minimum wage .. sorry the say the world here doesn't really revolve around farangs as much as the narrow minded bar stool'er's want to think.
  19. I think if no helmet the fine would have been bigger ????
  20. Hi All . People always seem to slag the Thai Police , But I have to report a good experience , First I'll hold my hands up I was clocked at 132kph on my bike on 1 AH highway yesterday , from being pulled over to leaving with a 500 baht fine paid for at the pull in station I was treated so politely/respectfully and even given a bottle of sweet lychee ice tea. I was shown photo evidence of me speeding (so not a rip off) . I could not pay with my banking app(not work for some reason) .and could not pay with cash the station . so a lady in the police station office scanned my ticket and paid it on her phone app , I then gave her the 500Baht fine money and also offered her a small tip for her help which she refused point blank ... the police officer then told me to take a photo of the receipt off her phone and the speeding ticket as evidence and proof of payment . 10/10 for the police .. and 10/10 for my stupidity at getting caught
