Having done quite a bit of research I have decided to hang back from getting any booster shots and only getting the said booster if it is a requirement to re-new my visa or travel within Thailand ...All the scare mongering and hype by the Worlds media s getting to tiresome . I know people who've had covid and not one has had a severe reaction .. just mild flu/cold like symptoms and one (a smoker) had persistent cough that lasted a few weeks .. ( sounds like a regular winter cold sneeze & wheeze season in the UK)

The old saying " A fool and his money" comes to mind . he's just learnt an expensive lesson he's lucky it was only 200K

What proof is accepted around Pattaya that you have recently passed a negative ATK test that will allow you to gain access to bars, restaurants etc.?.... and what is best/easiest way showing the evidence that your test was negative? Yeah ! I did a 5000 km trip up north along the Laos border and to koh Chang Early November ,,everywhere was selling beer only in Pai did I have to drink out of a coffee mug lol ....I am going to Kanchanaburi >Pilok .Songkhla Bur> and a few other places on My M/Bike end of this week (hopefully) .

I had the same problem .. I bought a airsoft pistol from lazada .. fires plastic pellets . it will not kill them but it makes them think twice about returning .....and it did the trick for me

Hi All . Worldwide it now seems that a 3rd booster shot will be needed 90 days after receiving your 2nd shot and it looks like this will be ongoing every 90 day for the foreseeable future. The Booster shots are likely soon to become the norm for all international travellers and to get you access to all areas. What I would like to know is. Where in the Pattaya area can I register for a official booster shot? my 90 days will be up very soon as it will be for a lot of others on this forum . There are several apps available to register for a 3rd booster in the Bangkok area . So as per usual Pattaya is likely to be last in the queue YET again ....

Just contacted a Hotel in Koh Change .. there reply was :- Proof of double vaccination OR a test if you’re not vaccinated. That’s the rule

A bit of scare mongering ... just googled = Is Koh Chang Open for Tourists? Yes, it is. It is possible for domestic tourists to come to the island. The only restriction is that visitors must have either proof of vaccination or a negative PCR coronavirus test, issued within the previous 72 hours.

I think you will find that to be wrong ...you just need to show proof of being double vaxx'ed, But if I am wrong please can to show me what source you get your info from that would help alot ?? Cheers

Hello All After 12 years celebrating the countdown to the New Year in Pattaya . I now feel it would be a good time for a change of scenery .. I am leaning toward either Koh Chang or Hua Hin (Both within a short'ish acceptable drive for me ) Any recommendation where to go and Why? or any other destinations and again why! (max 5 hrs drive) Hopefully fingers crossed by then some of the restriction will have been either relaxed or at best locally ignored. Stay safe and have a good one ????

Just finished a 4042 km circuit which included the loop ...if you're not time bound just take one day at a time and enjoy. ... the roads they are deserted at the moment but there's still a lot of crazy truck drivers from the Evel Knievel school of motoring ... PLUS a lot of the resorts around that area are closed ... but there's always another one open just round the corner.
