  1. what a freaking waste of time, the friends of Big wing all got first lick at the dyno - no time for outsiders, told me to come back.....and it was true... the monkeys didnt know how to work it. Head mechanic set it up and left it to the chimpanzees.

had to sit through some stupid motorcycle safety videos for 1 hour, then had to watch another retarded demonstration for another hour. Was trapped couldnt leave.

when it came time to test ride the bike, they told us how we had to ride - screw it, gave my que ticket to someone else and left.

3 hours of stupidity, and the head mechanic was a prick, and they now charge 1000 baht for dyno. (but today was free)

    grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

555 A bit like a ride day in Oz! First it's blow in the bag to see if there's enough alcohol in your system. Then it's a copy of your riders license. Then it's sign a waiver that makes me responsible for the first $1500 if there's an accident. Then the 20 minute spiel from the company bloke. Then you get a chance to ride the bike.....with a company guy in front and one at the back so you can't get jiggy with it!

I hate it when they wont let me get jiggy with it !

Honestly, the owner looked like he was pissed off at his dumbass staff...

During the demonstration, the test rider did a brake test for rear brakes only and almost ran through the front barrier...lol... cheesy.gif then he kept falling off the plank during the low speed demo - clap2.gif and they were trying to show us how to ride jejejeje thumbsup.gif

oh and there wasnt no 700 Integra to test.

    Yamaha please bring that R25 here....please ?

  3. I don't like Chinese drivers. They simply can't drive. People say that about Thais that they can't drive but it's not true. I have found that for the most part, Thais can drive quite well some even have some mad skills. It's just that they drive reckless because there is no police presence on the roads so they know they can get away with it. But they aren't bad drivers in general. But the fuc_ing Chinese, they are hopeless. They just don't seem to understand how to drive properly. So whenever I see one, driving like an idiot I force him to stop, hold him down, fart on him then I go on with my day.

careful, he may fart back on you.

  4. 60 % of the tourist are Chinese at the moment and when you see Asians driving on a rented motorbike it is 90% sure that they are Chinese.

Please enlighten us as to how you managed to acquire your statistics?

97.3% of all statistics are made up, and five out of four Chinese have trouble with fractions.

    Source.

I find this hard to believe because a friend once told me, darn clever these Chinese, the yellow peril will take over the roadways.

This thread has been very educational, because today I have learned that it`s a natural trait of the Chinese to be bad road users.

Here is a fact of some old British colonial racism actually told to me by an Uncle who was captured in Singapore and became a Japanese POW: :

Did you know that during WW2 the British believed that the Japanese would not likely attack them at night? Because the narrow shape of the Japanese eyes hindered them from seeing in the dark. Many British troops were caught out and captured during the night because they lowered their guard fully believing the eye theory to be true.

I hear the best time to attack the British is in the morning because they are always hungover.

  5. I have always wondered about these disc locks, you jump on the bike ride off and whack! I big dent/bulge in you brake disc.

I have always wondered where this thought comes from?

The wheel can make a quarter turn at most with a disc lock.

How much speed/damage do you think you can sustain from that?

i forgot to take the padlock off the front disc of my SV650 once...went like 1 foot and BAM laid her down, cracked fairing and my foot was pinned under the bike. facepalm.gif that doesnt happen with the rear wheel....across the street was a big office building with tinted windows, i couldnt see anyone, but i know someone had to be laughing. cheesy.gif.pagespeed.ce.HaOxm9--Zv.gif

its wise to put any kind of disc lock on the rear wheel, just incase you forget its there...and ive forgotten plenty of times.

you wont travel far enough to cause any damage to the disc or anything else, unless you do a drag race start, and most times your going to be backing the bike up first.

Front brake lever locks also work good, they lock the front brake in place and the bike wont budge....i do wonder though, how it would effect the seals with prolonged pressure applied.

Are you saying he is selling a suspension for various bikes now?

    If so where?

yep, you have to send him an email, he has a rear shock for the cbr 250...i think its around $700

  8. yes any CBR 250 can do that....yes gasohol 91...top speed ive reached has been 174 kph speedo indicated...with Rosso 2 tires, Im running IZ003 tires now and they are a bit heavier and top speed is down to 167kph...speedo indicated.

But you have to be in a full crouch and pin the throttle a few kilometers.

Well done... I can see on youtube that several people are getting theese speeds out of it. I bought one when it was first introduced here in Thailand a couple of years ago. I never got it above 145 kph - maybe it's just too much good food and no crouching. I changed from gasohol to benzene, and I felt it gave a much better sound and form the engine - and definately more km/liter. Anyway I sold after 6 months and have been driving Ninja since...

yeah its very sensitive to the little things, tire pressure, chain lube, engine oil, air filter....you have to keep on top of all of those or else it will run like crap.

    Regards

    nice report.

i really want to buy a set after this report especially but my jacket has to large zipper opening around 20 cm on wrist which provides me enough cooling effect. - revit ignition 2 -

    good luck.

let me know when your ready to sell your jacket ;)

  11. i get a consistent 75 kilometers per 100 baht of 91 gasohol.

sometimes i get 85 kilos if i keep my chain well lubed and tire pressure in check.

a full tank i get 275 kilos, going fast 150kph and above will net me 220 kilos....this is when the fuel light starts blinking, ive only ever ridden 25 kilos with the light blinking, so i know that it atleast goes that much further.

Are you saying that you are doing +150kph on a CBR 250 ? What did you do to it ? And you are doing it on 91 gasohol....

yes any CBR 250 can do that....yes gasohol 91...top speed ive reached has been 174 kph speedo indicated...with Rosso 2 tires, Im running IZ003 tires now and they are a bit heavier and top speed is down to 167kph...speedo indicated.

  12. actually, now i am thinking, offering beer at a bike gathering in the afternoon is not a wise idea imo though.

beers are good when the day of riding is over and when riders are off their bikes at night.

open invitation to accidents as egos will bloom with every mug of beer.

i think the beer will be in the evening. test rides and some other program is in the daytime.

too bad though, i want to get drunk and get on the dyno and rev the hell out of it...lol...just wanting to see if any power has been lost after 38k kilometers and no valve shim adjustments ever performed, cat removed for straight tube and no air filter.

    You rebel rider!
