Not really sure how the new TM6 enhances the visitor experience but I do appreciate the new automatic gates in immigration for departure. Hopefully they will be up and running for arrivals soon.
not sure Thai immigration will be too happy to have their jobs taken over by automation though, especially if it means reducing the immigration workforce

For me it’s the disrespecting of laws that most others are following and the fu attitude for other travellers. Seems to be how society is today unfortunately.

When I work security in my younger days we pushed people out of the bars , we never beat them or fought with them , the security guards here wait for an opportunity to beat people here ,and they beat them badly, 3 guards and they couldn’t just put him out the door without a beating ,bs.
I’ve seen one guy take on and beat multiple people trying to down him. He was on drugs and just wouldn’t go down. Not saying that’s the case here but you never know but Thais always fight dirty

You can't stop the drugs, never could, never will. Name one country that has? First there is always a demand largely due to untreated addicts who can'r stop. Second because there are fortunes to be made making and selling it and no amount of attempts at law enforcement can stop any significant percent of it. If it were possible it would have been done by now. BTW you're not Thai, so why does what the Thai people, politicians, police, and government have to do with you anyway? How do they affect you directly?
not to mention the people that make money off it push it on the people knowing it will be used therefore perpetuating the addiction and the demand

I’m no lawyer and agree that people that do this should face some form of punishment but a 1 minute delay seems a bit of a stretch to lay the patients death on the driver.

This is rich, I watched a Thai piss against the wall of my daughter’s school and no one include the police controlling traffic right there battered an eye.

@HuaHinHim There are 3 ways to apply for this visa. You have clicked on the wrong section as @BrandonJT has correctly pointed out. You need to change your application to the "workcation" or "soft power" section.
Thanks I’ll try again. Appreciate the help

Are you using the evisa site? If so I do not recall anything close to what you write, what is the exact wording?
Straight off the e-visa site as I was applying. DTV visa of DTV holder.

Hi, not sure if anyone can help but I’m trying to apply for a DTV from Australia and stuck on one of the mandatory questions that the applicant uploads the DTV of the DTV applicant? How do you do this if it’s the first time applying for it?
I went through the website questions about eligibility for this visa and it’s says I am eligible but this one is puzzling. Have been trying to call the Canberra Embassy and the visa section number on their website but it just goes to a messaging service which no one replies to.
any advice is greatly appreciated

So if you want more foreigners to come to Thailand why have you cancel the multi entry number n O visa? Is there an alternative to this? Just tried to get one in Australia and they told me that they changed their policy on visas and 1 year non o finished and only single entry non o available

Why can’t they have them for arrivals as well. Long overdue.

I have been a pilot for over 35 years(Commercially rated, CFI and CFII) and I have known private pilots with big and fast airplanes who are no longer flying. Some are now flying in the clear blue skies of heaven.
That’s a bit OTT mate. I have been a commercially rated helicopter pilot since the 90’s and know a few people lucky enough to have plenty of money so they can have the fancy sofisticated non turbine powered aircraft and turbine powered and I am very happy to fly with them. I accept there’s more training to fly them competently but to say I wouldn’t trust a private pilot would be on a case by case basis. I’ve know and know of several commercial pilots with high flight hours that have lost aircraft through senseless errors, some are lucky to be with us still and some are not. You must have had a bad experience.

Why are they using a professor of arts and science to provide a briefing? Don’t they have some kind of accident investigation board with a leader that can do it?
ok fire away

We will soon be hearing it was completely the lady's fault and she will need to pay for all the expenses incurred.????
I could imagine that happening quite easy.

It’s empirical. People had it done to them and then it’s their turn to pay it forward. Not saying it’s right, just how it is how it has been and for some how it always will be. I used to think it would be the current generation that would sort it out but I think I’m being overly optimistic. It’s going to take a bit more than that

What will his punishment be? Almost certainly nothing to match the crime.
The equivalent of 3 hail Mary’s and he’s good to go

“When they find him”, haha nice one

Who was that Thai guy that hit a cop with his Ferrari and dragged him along the road for a ways and then ran away? I mean seeing as we are talking about justice.

They don’t know when it went missing so probably taken years ago.

That’s a bit slanderous. Given the fact that people can be sued for defamation in Thailand. Does that mean any farang could sue him or every farang in Thailand join a class action suit? Asking for a friend

She did the wrong thing so she should be punished period. I just hope she is in custody and can’t run away and hide here in Thailand and I would say that about any low life that did the same regardless of who they are or where they come from.

A Thai was peeing on the wall of my daughter’s school while parents were dropping kids off and police were controlling traffic kind of. No one bothered to say anything to him and the police just stood there waving traffic on. To do it in the middle of the airport though that some high quality tourist there.
