Why would people stop at zebra crossings or slow down at amber traffic lights, when the police aren’t going to do anything about it. Westerners should be careful what they wish for in LOS.

Doesn’t surprise me they charged an application fee. It seems to be standard fare here that if your privileged position doesn’t automatically get you the job, then you need to buy it. Doubt there’s many appointments based on merit here.

A few years back I watched a Thai Guy <deleted> on the wall of my daughters school (Main road Hua Hin) in between the vendors selling food to the kids getting out at the end of the day. No one battered an eye and he cared even less. The foreigners pissing openly like that is disgraceful but if Thailand want foreigners to toe the line they need to take a hard look at themselves as well

Someone just invested in a GPS device company.
The logic is flawed. Criminals won't install a GPS, just as criminals wont do TM30, so it will not affect crime.
These idiots can't get 50% of people to wear helmets or fix brake lights...how they going to enforce a 3,000 baht GPS system.
Fail.
I think your conservative with your percentage

As long as they keep operating until the end of next week, no problem.

While he looking, maybe he can check how other countries handle address reporting as well and maybe get some clues on that

Still draconian system however you try to spin it.

I don’t see how this is good for Thailand. My wife has a tourist visa for Australia but she doesn’t need to report to immigration when we go to another state to see friends and report when we come back. It’s ridiculous. There is no benefit to Thailand for this system.

They’re going faster than 120 now. Why don’t you start with something easier like what they should do at traffic lights

And, why would anyone apply for an extension of stay, which is the correct thing to do to live in Thailand, if you are allowed to get a Non O based on marriage that is good for one year without the hassle? Doesn't make sense so they fixed it.
Sorry what $&*&ing party is over? I legally apply for a non o as I work a 2 month on 2 month off roster. During my off time I support my Thai wife and Thai daughter sending her through $&*# poor schools and put up with all the other crap that gets thrown my way because i’m A foreigner. I spend all my money here and in doing so support the Thai economy. If your not supposed to live in Thailand on it why is it given based on marriage. One thing is certain, the house is going on the market and when it sold i’m Out of here.

So I have the O-A visa in my passport which was issued based on marriage to a Thai and we also have a child. So that means I need insurance or not? Clear as mud

The Chinese are invading all corners of the globe, just watched a 60 minutes program where they Have destroyed part of a reef in Fiji for a casino and condos and have blocked legitimate owners from their land.

Where I come from the fault is yours if you run into the back of someone because you have not been driving with enough stopping distance so basically poor driving. Motorbike riders probably checking their Facebook profile or texting which I see everyday by Thai’s, is it any wonder they run into the back of others

Well to be honest I have been trying to leave for about 5 years but can’t sell the house so i’m stuck and i’m Not going to give it away so I am force to stay at the moment

She needs to at least get out of the hospital because that bill will be adding up. Find a small place to rent or stay with your son

I agree it should be returned to nature, minus it’s head

I don’t think they should be made to learn English if they don’t want to, but their exam results should not be altered when they don’t pass because the system says they are not allowed to fail. If they are good enough to pass legitimately with English, I say no problem

There’ll be no money coming in soon, once all the foreigners are kicked out.

We elderly do sometimes do such silly things.
The car should have stopped, but often they don't. That doesn't mean it was the car drivers fault.
The elderly also say stupid things sometimes, perhaps you should have yourself checked out
