  1. Hello,

I am asking on behalf of a friend. He would like to see Angkor Wat in Cambodia. I heard of guided tours to Angkor Wat from Bangkok. Can anyone suggest something? He will only travel alone so some kind a tour in a group is a must.

    Cheers,

  2. Unfortunately this is a fate which awaits many of the first expat generations in Thailand. Especially if you don't have any Thai relatives. The government made it officialy clear that they don't want any of these in their country. There is also no law which could make any exceptions like Extraordinary circumstances if you live here already for decades and have no other home. Just can only hope that the immigration lets you walk on if they find out. But if you get into any legal troubles you would always end in IDC or deport back to that far planet where your passport is from.

Look at her family prime suspects.

Years ago i hid 19.000 baht in shoes in a wardrobe, went later to get some money, all gone.

On checking who has been in my bedroom usual answer !! mai roo !!

Mother in law acting very shifty, i said get the police, i was told mil took it for safe keeping.

I feel sorry for you if you still live among this scum.

Meanwhile, national police chief Pol General Chakthip Chaichinda said the police database of search and arrest warrants remained intact and people attempting to break into the system could access only basic data that was already available via the search engine Google.

Says a lot about what kind of people are got arrested. Just some idiots who try to overload the websites from their home internet.

As stated his mum will not help .. he did have thai passport and birth certificate as well.. but are long gone . I want to do everything as a british citizen ...not Thai if possible. Visa company said they can get his UK birth certificate stamped if I want to . but is it realy necessary ?

ELVIAJERO.. Are you saying once I"ve got my 1 year retirement visa ... I can do something else (Extension of stay)  for him that piggybacks mine very easily ? Excuse the ignorance ... what exactly is it and how do I go about it .

Why wouldn't you do this? It would make your own visa situation much easier if you have all documents and can proof that you have a Thai Child then apply for a Non-O visa and do 1 year extensions.  Only 400k or 40k monthly income instead of retirement 65k monthly or 800k on Thai Bank. And also easier options to get a WP.  And it also would give you the opportunity to get residence permit in the future.

Sad very sad, poor man not wanting to be a burden.

Hope he is now at peace.

I being paralysed can understand him better than most people.

I have had similar thoughts on many occasions, but only the love and support of my wife,

And a few good friends have stopped me doing similar.

Please people if you know someone in similar circumstances  reach out to them offer what help and support you can.

You never know if and when something like this could happen to you.

    Greatly said!

  7. When does stuff like this appear on National News Channel 3 or 7? The <deleted>*"ing Police and Military raided his home. Every public prosecutor with 1 brain cell would have smelled that this all is just a massive injustice. Unless they hoped the German fled the country and all his assets were shared between ex wife and involved officials. Thailand as it's best.
