  1. I have another question but about the same topic. I used to get 1 year extension based on being the legal father of a Thai child but it always seems that it was important that I live together with my child and his mother in a relationship. What happens in case I quit with the mother and  the child but the child. The child will spend around 50/50 with mother and father? Can you still get an yearly extension for this?

  2. Hi,

is it possible to change the owner of an 3bb internet contract?

Current situation. The current owner has a 3bb contract with 8 months left. The owner will move to a different condo where 3bb is not available. The owner found someone else who wants 3bb and take over his contract.

Does someone here has experience if changing the owner of an internet contract is possible?

To save us all having to "hunt to far", perhaps you could tell us who "bought his mansion and cars for a ridiculous price on a auction and what happen to all his moneys that was confiscated"?

Exactly this is the reason why this case will probably be swept under the table. Not just because a few corrupt officials more because it would be a full face loss for Thailand if they have to revoke his sentence and admit that the money is gone....

I Have Done So ... I Am Married To Thai Wife Having 3 Sons, Holder Of Yellow Residence Book, Staying In Thailand Mire Than 7 Years  ... I Was Having NON - O Visa And It Was Fine ...

But Then I Got A English Teaching Job And That Job Requirement Was To Have Work Permit ... So The School Worker Took Me Out And I Quit Thailand by Finishing My NON - O Visa

Entered In Malaysia And Got NON - B ( Bussiness Visa ) And Re-entered Thailand On Fresh Visa ... It Took One Month In Malaysia  For All Verification Of Documents And Then I Got

Thai Visa From Malaysia ... On NON - B Visa I Got My Teaching Work Permit And Working ... May Salary Is 15000 Bhat So I Dont Have To Pay Any Tax ... But The Only Problem Is That

That You Are Dependent On Employer ... Even You Have One Year Visa Once They Fire You From Job Or Cancel Your Work Permit Your Rest Of Time Expires And You Get Exactly 7 Days

To Find A New Job Employer Or Leave The Country ... Even If You Have 3 Years Contract Once Your Job Is Gone Your Visa Gone What Ever Period You Have ... That's The Worst Part Of It ...

For NON - O Visa You Have To leave The Country And Get The Fresh Visa From Your Origion Of Country ...  Working Permit Under Wife ( Non-O ) Visa Is Only Allowed Upon Making A Company

On Her Name holding 49% Share Of Yours Own Being Designated And Positioned As A Manager  In That Firm With Atleast 2 Million Capital To Be Declared At Least ... That is The Safest And

Secure Visa But You Can Not Work Else Where On That Visa ... I Mean JOB ...

So My Advise Is If You Are Confident That The Job Is Secure Then Go For It Otherwise You Knows Better ...

    Best Regards

    AhSaN ...

You have 3 children and earn 15k per month? how do you manage this?

  5. What choice do you have. Some immigration officer demanding 5k baht to give your extension or leaving the country? Not everyone has the ability to fight with an immigration officer. Ever seen latest news about defamation laws? If you piss of the wrong official then you can even end up in jail or blacklisted.

If you want a good example what could happen if you fight against the wrong officials read this here: https://www.change.org/p/thai-minister-of-justice-please-give-jessie-daire-back-their-home

It's always the same areas. Usually Asoke and Thonglor. Now they started fetching people on Soi 3 which actually makes sense.

I really don't understand why they do this in Thonglor area. I understand that there are lots of clubs around, but there is also tons of very affluent foreigners living there.

None of them breaks the law, pays the overpriced rent prices and has most likely less to hide than people on Soi Africa.

Never bite the hand that feeds them, but they didn't hear that before I guess. I'll move out of Thonglor as soon as my lease is up.

    Really tired of it.

I watched "Shindlers List" yesterday.  How inconspicuous everything started in the beginning and then more and more until the first expropriations....

More and more passport controls, GPS tracking, stricter visa rules, interview with neighbors...

  7. Sooner or later the big bubble called Thai Real Estate will collapse. The market is so damn overflooded with condos in Bangkok. I am currently looking for a new rental and I am amazed how much is free. And almost every agent is lying and is telling me I that I should sign quickly because many other clients want to have the room. A few months later  the condos are still available.

  8. What is your actual question? Visa options in Thailand to avoid paying taxes in your home country? If you are from UK or US then you will always be taxed there expect if you pay income tax in another country of residency. And Thailand is absolutely not an option in this case. You cant get a work permit just for living in Thailand and working abroad. Not to mention that Thailand is not tax heaven even if you could somehow manage to pay income tax in Thailand with working offshore.
