Business delegations first !
What about all of us that have been trapped here since May
What is this Hotel California ?:
Last thing I remember
I was running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax", said the night man

And the fact you have driven 20-30km with the kids in tow to be denied the entry you were expecting at the gate. It would be hard to stand on principle with a disappointed family crying behind you.... but you have been cheated of course.
In these types of situations I am not about to disappoint the family. I go and I sit in the car and let them enjoy "their " country. They didn't choose to live in such a xenophobic country, that was an unlucky accident of birth

No, Crazy Alex we are supposed to remember the truth, something you seem to be incapable of understanding or even caring about
I doubt if you even read the articles cited above since they would conflict with your mantra:
Trump good, Obama bad

Get your facts straight if you are going to pontificate here
The militarization of the US police was started after the first Gulf War under the first Bush with the release of surplus equipment, long before President Obama was in office
But common knowledge isn't isn't so common for fan boys

There will be plenty of out patient care
And boy are you lucky that it will be at PIH, they have an excellent physio therapy department, that actually understands what physical therapy is all about. As opposed to the department at Bangkok Hospital, Pattaya who are clueless.
I was there one morning after doing my elephant tricks for the "therapist" I was icing down my knee when the doctor in charge asked why I was doing that, and I replied I am self medicating because your people are too stupid to understand that you heat before, and cool after, the PT session

Just because they advertise it with the company there is nothing requiring the buyer to take the company also
As stated above, the Land Office will accept the transfer from the company so long as the company is "up-to-date" and the relevant paperwork is filed with the Land Office
Most times, buyers and sellers agree to split the transfer fees, if the seller in this case will not, then walk away, there are plenty of houses for sale here
The company route is only advantageous to the seller in this case, since selling the company with the house will save them any land transfer fees, the whole reason for Thais to own companies, not so that foreigners can control property as most believe

You have to download LINE for PC, in order to use the QR code from your phone to access your account via a laptop / PC
That way you technically you don't have LINE on two devices, since the PC version is not a stand alone program and can only use your phone LINE account

Another long time satisfied customer of Zenni. Used to work in the optical industry and next to funeral homes they have the highest material markup of any service industry. (gross profit margin)
Glass and plastic are incredibly cheap, so all you are paying for is the labor to grind the lens and place it in the frame, not exactly rocket science. Certainly nothing we should pay a premium for here in Thailand, and at the prices in Thai optical shops, we are definitely paying a premium
If you have a problem with Zenni, chances are pretty good that the problem is your prescription, not their workmanship

Unless you can afford to purchase teak, my experience is that we have super termites here in Thailand and they have a voracious appetite and no amount of pest control will slow them down. After five years, gave up and got rid of all the wood that had not already been eaten and went totally metal and tile

So Trump is going to start up the rallies again. On the one hand, if you want to attend, you have to sign a disclaimer to the effect that you won't sue the Trump campaign if you come down with Covid.
Fact checked, absolutely correct:
QuoteBy clicking register below, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.

Its nothing to do with Lazada if a vendor advertises stock they dont have.
If 7-11 doesn't have Coke in stock, do you blame Coca Cola or 7-11 ?

Unless you just want to buy a piece of junk then roll the dice with Lazada. Unfortunately every electronic device I have ordered from Lazada for some strange reason is never in stock at the vendor advertising it
If it were me I would go with a specialist, such as invadeIT, who will advise you on what is the best option for your needs
Yes, you may pay a couple of hundred Baht more, but it's worth it not to have to deal with Lazada vendors and their mysterious vanishing stock

You don't crack down on protesters which is the point:
QuoteCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Seriously, the guy President Trump puts in charge doesn't even know enough to comprehend that it takes two weeks for an infected person to show symptoms (ergo the two week quarantine standard)
Maybe someone should buy Pence a calendar so he can count off 14 days before he opens his big mouth and makes another false claim in a litany of false claims

We will see just how good this is for those industries when there are no tourists coming to change their currency into over priced Thai Baht
I can guarantee you the rich Thais sure as heck are not going to be purchasing Thai Baht

The risk then that they may axe your account when it reaches the expiry date.
If you can't remember to top up your phone via online banking with a Thai bank account then suffer the consequences when they "axe" your account
I know when my license expires, when my visa expires, so I also know when my mobile plan expires. And even overseas I can top it up using either my SCB or Bangkok Bank account.
DTAC will extend my validity for up to 365 days at a cost of 2 Baht per month, and other providers provide similar options, so for 24 Baht per year it's not too much for the peace of mind so my number remains valid

What make you think that Thai International can afford to lease anything ?
And if you were the lessee would you trust Thai to pay the rental !

Depends upon the Land Office you have to deal with :
QuoteThere is nothing there is stated that restricts the grants of such usufructs. However, like all other rights in relation to property, it must be noted once again that the registration of such a right is upon the discretion of the Land Officer at the Land Department and may vary between locations. It is advisable that you contact a Lawyer or Solicitor to discuss your options in regards to you specific circumstances.
This is Thailand where every government office is it's own little fiefdom

Never mind the fare question, did anyone bother to read the article and pick out this gem;
So unless you are a business traveler you are stuck in Thailand until they decide to let you leave
Do these muppets actually believe that any tourists will return to Thailand if they are not guaranteed the ability to leave
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me
