Yeah right tell that to Thai people abroad..... you don't want to know how many times i have heared "This is how thai people are and how we do things....". If they had given me a dollar for every time i would have been a millionair !! What a joke.

I now know 3 close firends, expats, who killed themselves in Thailand. I don't know for this one, but the others were severe depressed and not happy in their relationship. Life was sucked out of them. No more fun. Their Thai dream was one big disappointment for them resulting in suicide. Keeps you thinking what is wrong?

I have read somewhere a couple of years ago that on main elections people get paid for their votes. They just goto some local meeting where they stand in line for a couple of hundred bahts to make sure they vote for that party (member). Don't know if this is true. Has anybody ever seen or heared this?

How can this be so much money? Is this also part of the dual pricing system?

The endless search for free money never stops. I do not believe it will ever be used for coverage of medical costs for uninsured farangs. Just another milking cow. How about the two pricing system even in hospitals? So sad after 2 1/2years of covid they ahd enough time to think about things and nothing changed. They just carry on the old way we new tricks to get your money in to their pockets.

It seems that everything is back to normal again. Nothing changed after all the time they had to tink about the past, tourism, and what went wrong. They just carry on as if nothing happened and nothing learned. So sad !

The biggest problem Thailand had was their covid restrictions which were toggle "ON" and "OFF" and back "ON" again by the day, week, month. No one could rely on stable policy. It was just how the wind was blowing. That kept most people away from visiting Thailand. Did he not see how tourism was booming in Europe and in many countries outside Europe last year?

There are more things to worry about that just this myth! They hurt the Thailand tourism branch much harder.

You can't exit on Thai passport to the UK. As they check if you have a visa. You need to exit on the british passport.

Well You can say that for most foreigners who try to speak Thai. They can not string a correct Thai sentence together. Its harder to speak Thai then to speak English. So where does it go wrong as English is a pretty easy language to learn?

The Musk "friendship" was pure sarcasm. Unfortunately You missed that. Raising prices for only Farangs will backfire. Especially in the current economy worldwide. People will start avoiding Thailand and spend their money in the countries around the kingdom. They are not stupid as there is a limit in squeezing the lemon and shaking the money tree!
