  1. Two words you hate seeing in the same sentence...nuclear and Thailand
  2. No, the whole idea of vacs is #1 You don't die #2 You don't spread it. Your medical issues following inoculation is irrelevant. We would know if there was a connection because it would be documented but it isn't. Only you had that reaction. It's sad that people are reading the BS, becoming amateur virologist and endangering themselves and keeping this pandemic going. And believe me...I don't care what happens to you.
  3. Friend of mine had a couple of jabs and then stopped. He recently had a very bad case of covid that took him down for two weeks. Strong 55 year old guy who said he really felt he was going to die. Arthritic fingers and thumb isn't a post vaccine connection. I don't care what happens to you (an understatement) but don't post your home grown vaccination BS as somehow related to medical fact. Gee, could you have arthritic fingers and thumbs completely unrelated to covid vaccine? Of, course! In fact that's the likely scenario.
  4. And then open a Bualuang Trading brokerage account. I see the limitations but I think this is one of the only things to do to get a small degree of flexibility on return.
  5. It would appear that the only thing to do is open an account at Bangkok Bank. Sorted.
  6. No Thai ID for mutual funds. I'm trying to improve the return on the 2 million baht I've recently brought in. Bangkok Bank seems to be the answer at this point. I trade with Charles Schwab in the US.
  7. Do you wear tinfoil hats too? WiFi causes cancer. It's been proven
  8. Tsk. I'll pay 500 baht not to take your word for it
  9. I'm going to be able to open a Bangkok Bank account and trade mutual funds and buy bonds. I have to get a form from Immigration for something or other. Thanks for the input.
  10. No because that doesn't happen. Covid is still out there and can kill you along with the flu. Easy to stay up to date with vaccinations and a yearly flu shot. It's crazy that anyone would roll the dice on their own health. I see there are still plenty of idiots out there willing to die to cuck the libs. Turn off Fox News.
  11. I already trade through Schwab in the US. I recently brought in money to take advantage of the high value of the USD. I was hoping to get better than than just the savings rate .05%. Haven't found a way yet.
  12. Kasikorn has told me to eff off because I'm an American. I'm sure there are paperwork issues there. Are all banks like this? Where can I open an account and trade ETFs and possibly bonds?
  13. Question for Bangkok Bank farang customers. Can you trade stocks? I can't at Kasikorn. Looking to do better than just savings account rates
  14. I don't know, but I doubt it. Annuities are rarely the best route to go, anyway.
  15. And replaced with who? I can't wait till we get back to complete anarchy which is what we had till the General took over. I remain a big supported because I know there isn't an alternative.
  16. Just brought in $40k and looking for my best options. Will check out SCB's Easy Account but my question is what is the next alternative after not using a bank? Say a safe money market account from a broker? I realize I'm off topic here but maybe you can point me to a different post/thread.
  17. I don't see Krawie listed on the farm's page. It would seem to be a "must try" at 25% THC. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
  18. Come on, man. Of course it's a real thing. Hurricanes are worse. Droughts are worse the planet is heating up at a ridiculous rate. Turn off Fox News.
  19. I always thought Thai Airways was great. I was on my way to Milan for a three month vacation when Covid hit. They still owe me 44,000 baht. Good news!
  20. Landslides are similar to other periods of heavy rain. This storm was exceptional, however. Is climate change contributing to the severity? I think so.
  21. I know what hash is. What are Glu, Keef and Dabs?
  22. Yeah, this stuff! You can see my post praising this compressed all bud red string ganja at a ridiculous price. 350 for 50gms? That something like $10 for 3.5 oz of thai buds? Have your more expensive stuff for the occasional treat and this for your daily smoke is my plan. That's until the price of the expensive stuff falls off the table. I expect that to happen in the next six months. My 15 plants are doing well. Some are 7 feet tall. They have got pretty beat up with all the wind and rain in Phuket this last five days. Come on sun!
  23. This kind of thing is the reason I remain pro-dictator. He also legalized abortion, remember. I've seen far less corruption under the Prayut rule. I think he's been great for Thailand. I don't want to go back to the anarchy offered before the General took over.
  24. I followed up on this tip and bought 25gm of "Red Thread" for 250 baht and can't believe how great this stuff is! I've been like a kid in the candy store lately, buying all kinds of great stuff with an eye on keeping the price down. This stuff holds its own with far more expensive weed. I think Red Thread traces back to Thai Stick. 100g for 599 baht? Come on. That's a ridiculous price for weed this good.
  25. I respectable human being doesn't support Russia and a maniac threatening nuclear weapons. I don't say this lightly, I will rejoice the day someone finds the guts to put a bullet into that creeps head.
