  1. You decide on your profit. It doesn't matter what others do. Many products are sold on ridiculously high prices even if the quality is <deleted>. It's about marketing, investment and hard work. A business that have generated tens of thousands of transactions and reached one of the highest average rating online isn't a mystery. It's a family-run business which can't be run as a family business any longer. The question was simple. Is there a way to find possible buyers?
  2. It's your choice how you make money. It doesn't matter how others operate.
  3. Lol. Try to start a new online shop and let's see how you succeed.
  4. It can be discussed. Obviously, lawyers would be around when it comes to taking over.
  5. Finding a reliable person to run your business in Thailand? ????????????
  6. Well, it's the owners discretion how much they charge for each transaction. No debts need to be taken over.
  7. No debts, and no need to scrutinize profit as it depends on the seller how much they want for each product.
  8. Thanks. You are right. Most replies are sarcastic remarks.
  9. My work permit has nothing to do with it. The business owner is Thai. I am employed legally. If someone buys, they must obtain their own work permit if they are foreigner. It's a completely legal business. And to be frank, if someone has the love of doing online selling, it's wonderful for that. The business is registered legally. But it actually doesn't matter. It's more like the rights and the portfolio that matters. Anybody can change the status of business in a matter of days. With a bit of marketing, providing that the person has funds for that, this online business can grow quickly. And one important thing, nowadays, opening a new online shop is bound to fail. The market is saturated and it's rock hard to get a fat slice from it. This business has been online for 3 and a half years with tens of thousands of transactions generating a 4.92 average rating.
  10. Smelling sarcasm here? ???? To be frank, it's a decent business, but our circumstances have changed so we need to consider moving on.
  11. Transferring ownership on Shopee and Lazada is as easy as a piece of cake. It requires one document and the signatures of the transferee and the buyer. Currently, the business averages a million baht revenue per month. Furthermore, it has a potential of generating way more than that. To answer your question as to why sell a successful business, people sometimes need to move on. Due to changes in our circumstances, the best thing is to try to sell the business and move on. Of course, the world won't end if we have to keep it. It's not that hard to run it. No fool play here. Everything is transparent and nothing to lose. To be frank, someone, who has an online business would greatly benefit from adding our portfolio to theirs.
  12. Hi there Does anybody have an idea whether it's possible to sell an established online business? We sell on Lazada and Shopee and have very high ratings and have served tens of thousands of customers. We also have stock and contacts as to where to get goods. Missus, who is Thai, has absolutely no idea if it's possible to sell something like this. The business is good and generates a lot of interest. Constructive replies are greatly appreciated.
  13. It's the houses that work like amplifiers. Noise seems to be louder inside than outside ????
  14. It's amazing to read all these crazy comments. Luckily, above, some reasonable comments had appeared. Telling people off because they don't tolerate something unreasonable that even Thais won't tolerate is just plain madness. Most people have no idea that Thailand isn't just Thailand. There are 2 Thailands. One is where people live around their village living a happy life making noise etc. On the other hand, there is the other Thailand that does not tolerate noise, smoke, nuisance etc. I'm happy to have been able to meet and speak with so many locals that would open up and talk to me as their confidant. Having the knowledge of Thai language and being around locals on a daily basis are great to learn about this place. Of course, Thais in general try to avoid confrontations, but it doesn't mean they agree with those lunatics. For example, where I live, there is a Line group for the locals where they can vent their frustration. And yes, noise is NOT tolerated, burning things nonstop is NOT tolerated, dogs running at walkers is NOT tolerated, early morning loud music is NOT tolerated etc. Seen neighbours discuss issues with each other and they could iron out their issues. Of course, farangs should not get involved unless they are indeed accepted and respected by the local community. Have a nice day ????
  15. Cool. I may spend a night or two abroad. Bit of a holiday.
  16. I'm near to the Sadao border. Malaysia is a mere 50 km away.
  17. By the way. Is it possible to convert the tourist Visa to a Non-B extension at the local immigration if all criteria are met?
  18. That's great then. 75 days should be enough to clear things up.
  19. So I assume I have to ignore my extension as it gets invalid after exiting, and come back with visa exempt tourist option that gives me 45 days. That sounds like the best possible way. Can this 45-day visa exempt be extended by another 30 days?
