Thailand going cashless. Are you for or against it?

Jeez, don't make yourself look like a nursery boy who has just lost his teddy bear. Seriously, why are you arguing using no evidence but nonsense? -

Mate, you are a genius. Everybody is a conspiracy theorists who disagree with you because they have ample evidence. Lol -

Lol. I'm in touch with Chinese suppliers on a daily basis and I can safely say, you have zero clue about what's going on there. And the worst is yet to come. But hey, you know better than others as you have never been there, and never seen it. -

Anyone who believes digital currency is for the greater good is a complete moron. I thought the governments are there to serve people. I may be living in a dream though. Instead, we should put a tracker and a digital ID on all state employees to see who they meet, who they deal with, who lobbies and what they lobby for, how they spend public money.......and most importantly, track all the research, studies, contracts, agreements they sign. If it's for the greater good, why would anyone conceal info from the populace? The world has gone mad that people believe that all these restrictive measures are for the "people". Brainwashing at its best. -
Well, I've recently asked this question at the local immigration and they say it's absolutely not legal to move away from your registered address without registering a new address apart from taking trips. Not sure if there is any law that stated how long you could be away. But that's my local immi and others may say something different. Keep in mind that some immigration offices, if not all, have a mandatory home visit. That's what my local immigration said. They may sniff around your neighbours too. Chances are low but you never know. Of course, as stated above, if you rent a place and the owner isn't bothered to report your presence, you should be ok.

We almost sank on the way to Lipe a few years ago. Scary experience it was.

Ok, let me rephrase. Don't feel like floating on rough seas for hours. Lanta is a very short ferry ride and it isn't on the open sea. I hope this gives a clear answer.
-
That's ok. Rooftop swimming pool and a lot of booze will do the job.
-
It depends on what people like. There's a great little soi ????

There is a great place in Ao Nang. Love it
-
Not bad. Thai country music and Hong are great too
-
Ao Nang is ok for me. Don't feel like ferrying across the sea
-
Thanks. It wasn't the question though.

Hi there, I was thinking about spending a couple nights somewhere near the beach. Was wondering if Lanta has come back to life. Are there any tourists? Is there any noticeable nightlife? To be frank, I'll only need a hotel with breakfast and swimming pool, and some sort of nightlife. Pubs with pool table, live music or some pumping music for "after party"? If no life down there, I may just head to Ao Nang. Thanks

Well, I somehow missed the wonderful opener, Qatar - Ecuador. Will definitely save it on my computer to be able to watch it again and again. ???? -

Very true! But hey, we all know from our lovely governments that these vaccine are "safe and effective". We are so lucky how well we've been looked after. ???? -

That must have happened. -

Eventually, the same thing when it comes to using antibiotics. They didn't work after a while. Interstingly, after not using anibiotics for over a decade, the same stuff worked again. -

Ok, let me rephrase. Bacteria, possibly, became resistant to the antibiotics that I was fed with. -

Good infos above. When I was young, I was given antibiotics by my GP all the time and I had developed resistance to most. At some point only the antibiotics jabs worked. Scary indeed. Since that time I have not taken much of it but I seemed to have lost the antibiotic resistance. You'd better figure out what causes your persistent cough. -

Great summary! Rather disappointing to see what revolves around this "fantastic" world cup. I'd better sit down in a karaoke bar to listen to those talented singers! ????
