  1. This is Thailand!

    Accept it?

A sign has been posted as to time open and close really end of story here.

For the employee to treat a customer in this manner is unacceptable period. Be the last time I have blood work there and would highly recommend to the Doctor or hospital that tefervmevto the place.

Poorly run company or department reflect poorly on the staff who examines the blood?

I wonder if I was their boss told them paycheck deposited every month on the first will be late🤣

Anyone think " this is thailand "

Thanks, but I'm not interested in opinions about the property's value. Let's just say you could comfortably fit a family of 7~10 people in the house, even more in the pool. It's a 9 year old, well maintained, modern lanna-style house, a beautiful tropical garden, situated alongside a river, with a lovely view of Doi Suthep. The property is priced appropriately.

    Thats your problem right there.

In other countries they have staff to resupply when the shop is closed.

not true, in the uk supermarket shelves are re-stocked during shop open hours

try not to see criticism through the lens that if something is not right it must be because it's thai/thailand.  :coffee1:

    Stirring the pot!

I assume top portion " other country "  yet you respond no true in the UK "

You see what is wrong here!

I dont know the cost but I would assume if a company regardless of country if they had a shift 10-6am to stock the cost would certainly be there.

I would imagine  U.S. companies like

Costco, Home Deport. Lowes, do stocking at night. I dont see them closing aisle forklifting pallets like Makro.

First hand, my brother Thai son use to work at Lotus his shift wss grave yard stocking.

First hand. My Thai son work for M, he wad assigned one or two aisle two person team their job order and restock those aisle truck deliver was during the day. The two shift he worked was like 5-5. 12-10, my daughter in law also worked at M, same shifts oncr in a while she was shifted to grave yard whenever the boss wanted to rearrange a section.

My son also worked DIY. delivery came on Wed, no grave yard shift all stocking done during both shifts.

Plenty of road work is carried out at night.

Perhaps not out in the countryside....   but in major cities that are incredibly busy in the day time and evenings major road works are carried out at night...

If you regularly drive around the city, particularly Bangkok, in the early hours (i.e. after 2am) you'll see those massive concrete slabs lifted out of the way for subterranean work to be carried out...   usually related to some form of either water works, or BTS / MRT line construction.

Thanks for the update On Bangkok, buy if you DRIVE around here in Chon Buri, Pattaya in particularly it isn't happening at least enough for me to see.

Currently the area just off Hwy 7, Sukhumvit!

  7. ThIs mayor is an idiot just like all the rest that came before him.

He says it is against the law to park Beach side yet they or he has create around 90 spaces which is upper part before Klang.

If it is against the law yet they have broken or made an exception surely they can make more exception. Top to bottom beach side they can create set in sidewalk to rent out to rental vendor and taxi.

Many of these rental vendors noted take up a great majority of spaces opposite side. Take for example in front of Royal Garden a vendor has taken up the entired front of Royal Garden, these big bikes has all the space and they never move.

This can only happen do to the corruption of the mayor, city official, and police on Soi 9.

This is the same nonsense that goes on at the City Hall on Nua, the parking structure lower level must be a personal vehicle storage for City leaders where citizens can barely find a space.

As mentioned, it will depend on the Immigration Office for your location.

If it is Chonburi (Pattaya) Immigration, then a new TM.30 will be required as for the past several months they are no longer following the "rule" that permits non-filing if using a Re-Entry permit and returning to the same address.

    Correction!

March 8th. Return went down Monday the 11th, told it isnt necessary.

My brother same!  Went to Renew his marriage.

    I’m a committed side-sleeper.

Whenever I try to sleep on my back, I drop off easily but soon my own snoring wakes me up.

For many years, I have on/off hip pain from the ‘contact area’ between the bed and my hip.

The pain wakes me up after after 1 or 2 hours and I have to switch sides.

Then after 1 or 2 hours, pain again and I have to switch sides.

The pain is like a burning sensation and dissipates after 10 minutes.

Often, I just get up much too early as I’m tired of the constant wake-ups and opt for my first coffee of the day.

The hip pain is not there every night. The ‘attacks’ are more often in cold weather and with harder mattresses.

I have no swelling on the hip and no problem walking or standing.

BTW, I’ve tried cushions between the knees and rubber rings, did not work for me.

I’ve had X-rays and MRI of both hips, nothing of great significance.

A well-respected orthopaedic surgeon had me standing on one leg and bending in multiple directions and implied it was all in my mind.

On the positive side, an ultrasound did indicate a possible inflamed hip bursa.

I had a steroid injection into the side bursa and no pain issue for about 2 months.

So, I really think the side hip bursas are the issue.

Possibly, I should have the hip side bursa removed.

From my Google search, seems it’s not always successful?

Plus, arthroscopy solutions seem expensive for what it is.

My side hip seems to be just skin and bone; that’s part of the problem negligible fat and muscle on the side?

Any personal experiences, or suggestions on where to get surgery in Bangkok would be welcomed.

Just stretch!  Works for me 40 years!
