My issue is I am a member of an LTD company in the USA. It isn't clear if the $ is considered passive or non-passive, as according to America the money is not considered a salary. -

Why report world wide income & not report the $ brought into Thailand, as far as I know the law/policy is... Tax is assessed on the amount of $ remitted to Thailand? World wide income has nothing to do with remitted money. -

In Thailand the jilted spouse can sue the afair partner. The problem is when the afair partner is married, then this becomes a mutual destruction situation... As the afair partners spouse can also use. But if a claim of further damages beyond the disruption of the marriage can be claimed (such as theft of 5 million baht) the balance of mutual destruction has shifted. Well played -

Being sought after as a "tax target" to pay for a debt that foriengers didn't create or have anything to do with is anoying. One can't really make roots in Thailand as foriengers are in a state of continuous "tax limbo" as the government schemes of ways to dig deeper into their "guests" pockets. Franky, the juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore.

I was denied an LTR wealthy pensioner visa, as my income was not accepted as "passive." I am a member of an American LLC. Under American tax rules LLC income is not deemed as a salary nor as dividends. The income is called "distributions," & for whatever reason, this has caused my LTR denial by the BOI.
