  1. The same could be said for a lot of things, but oddly enough those "minutes" seem to be unsurmountable. (For example traffic fines)
  2. Tourist are flocking to see the flooding first hand.
  3. Working girls are making more than 100k But I digress, me personally, I am the provider.... That's the way I prefer things.
  4. Being sought after as a "tax target" to pay for a debt that foriengers didn't create or have anything to do with is anoying. One can't really make roots in Thailand as foriengers are in a state of continuous "tax limbo" as the government schemes of ways to dig deeper into their "guests" pockets. Franky, the juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore.
  5. Once one has hit the ceiling, one must open a 7/11.
  6. Any one else notice the government continuously tries to collect taxes from everyone but Thai citizens?
  7. Chiangmai Hospital, a little south of 9k baht. Sorry, no help for BKK
  8. Thailand, where infidelity isn't a "choice," it's a tradition.
  9. I was denied an LTR wealthy pensioner visa, as my income was not accepted as "passive." I am a member of an American LLC. Under American tax rules LLC income is not deemed as a salary nor as dividends. The income is called "distributions," & for whatever reason, this has caused my LTR denial by the BOI.
  10. This type of dog doesn't fear a simple stick, a baseball bat might suffice, but don't miss as one swing is probably the only chance you will get.
  11. I don't think Hong Kong asks for your passport when you exchange money
  12. I had all $ in a bank outside of Thailand She got all immoveable assets uncontested, but the $ outside of Thailand she had zero access to. I was told Thailand has no jurisdiction & couldn't force me to hand any over. Therefore, she didn't get anything I had outside of Thailand.
  13. I am an LLC member, money from the LLC isn't considered a salary/wage/dividend Under USA laws the money is called "distributions." I have no idea what to claim the money is in Thailand.
  14. The data has been collected by the "toy" industry. That data does not follow the proposed narrative posted by the op. The industry collects that data in order to assist in making product design decisions etc. (best sellers/best selling sizes)
  15. 99 years 75% ownership Tax on foreign earned income = Hard Pass
  16. Until taxes policies are clarified, my biggest expense will be a tank of gas
  17. Quit threatening to tax foreigners.
  18. The average American woman of 20 years of age and up weighs 170.8 pounds (lbs) and stands at 63.5 inches (in), which is almost 5 feet (ft), 4 in tall. = 👎 hard pass
  19. The LLC is a 50/50 split partnership. My tax forms unfortunately categorized my income as non-passive on Form E. Due to that, I was denied. It is all rather annoying as it seems an LLC is really an enigma. Good luck
  20. Thanks for the reply, unfortunately, my application was denied due to the LLC "distributions" being considered by the BOI as being non-passive. I guess from now on, I get the privilege of dealing with accountants & hoping the DTA will cover me.
