  1. I have been reading your thread over time, however not in a position to go Solar yet.
  2. As i said they claim the energy savings, part of the reason for the installation is to see if those claims are true Will ask them to send me the presentation video.
  3. Have just had a prototype of this device fitted into my consumer unit. It was invented and designed in Korea and its main function is as the title suggests, my main reason for agreeing to the installation was safety. However they also claim there could be savings of up to 30% on your electric bills. Part of my agreement for the installation is monitoring of my electric usage via the MEA smart App. I am not an Electrician by trade (more Mechatronic) so don't fully understand how it works but they claim the electric savings are based on any Earth leakage going back into the system, savings obviously depend on how good your house wiring is. The safety aspect is self explanatory in the video attached, taken by me. Currently not available for domestic sale in Thailand until probably the end of this year, the device can be used in both single and 3 phase. If anyone wants more info and a better demonstration video let me know and i can pass it on. ECSPD Video.mp4
  4. Sauna Bar, Pratumnak Soi 6, nice place but pool may not be as big as you want.
  5. Have been booking apartments and villas for the past few years if we are in a group. Although i never book the large apartment complexes as these offer nothing extra as stated in the OP. I just prefer the extra room and versatility you get, plus there have been some great deals on private pool villas the last couple of years.
  6. Priceless, you have no idea what BOQ means...
  7. Sorry to hijack the thread a little, but do you mean you got severance pay even though you retired ? Was this on top of any provident fund payment ?
  8. Maybe you can help the OP find a new water pump for 1200THB ?
  9. Comedy gold.... you post a topic trying to make fun of a fellow foreigner and end up getting called out yourself.
  10. I would wait at least 24 hours, it may look dry around the tile edges but underneath will certainly not be dry after 3 hours. He will probably tell you it's special Thai quick drying adhesive ????
  11. Yes but you would need to buy either 18 or 19, instead just buy an adjustable spanner, although not so good in confined spaces. My pipes are 19mm to answer your question. After reading Kawasaki's reply i went and checked the fittings in Bath and Kitchen at work (i know how sad) and they are a tight 23mm or comfortable 24mm Best get the adjustable spanner.
  12. My daughters class (G1) are practicing for the end of year concert and the chosen song is Bruno Mars "Count on me ". Now the parents have decide to purchase some t-shirts for all the kids with some of the lyrics on to wear during the performance, and there have been some design suggestions on the parent line group. However the most popular design has the words "You count on me", the actual correct lyrics are "You can count on me". Not correct right. Now i am seen as the awkward foreigner for pointing out the error, with some parents stating "no problem" in that uniquely Thai way. Maybe i am being a touch picky, however this is an International school where we pay good money in the hope our kids are being taught correctly. Surely having them walk around in T-shirts that are incorrect sends out the wrong message ? What would the teachers think of us as parents. ? Am currently of the opinion i will buy same colour etc but with correct wording, but maybe i am being too picky and should just go with the flow ? What say you ?
