  1. Thank you for your reply, after reading the replies above and what you mention about Thai equities it seems steering clear is good advice. However like you i want to take advantage of the tax savings and will contact SCB. I understand your comment regarding giving advice but would you be so kind to name a couple of RMF funds that invest in the offshore trackers mentioned in your reply, it would give me some idea where to look.
  2. Thanks for your reply, i had no idea the performance of the RMF's were so bad, my LTF'S certainly did better, but that was a few years back. So what sort of investment fund would you recommend for the unknowledgeable ?
  3. I take your point, i did do well in a couple of LTF's until they were stopped but i am sure other financial products did far better. However as i said i can get tax relief and i just don't have the knowledge or time to do my own investing.
  4. I want to open an RMF mainly for the tax relief and will be putting in a monthly amount. My question is which one ? I have looked at many on offer and am stuck for what way to go. I would estimate as many as 75% of funds are down for the last 6 months which is no surprise given the current economic conditions, but my knowledge of such things is very limited. Do i go for one of the funds with positive growth which also tend to have a high NAV or select a fund with a low NAV in the "hope" that as things improve i get more bang for my buck ?
  5. Are you really that dumb and ignorant ? actually don't reply i remember what happens when you engage with idiots.
  6. how many would visit Samutprakan ?
  7. how many would visit Samutprakan ?
  8. Please do , my old nan god bless her soul always told me never to argue with idiots.
  9. The OP is an Aussie baiting the British, yet you complain when you get some back, oh the irony, and no i won't explain what that means to you.
  10. I visited the shop in the New Plaza a few weeks back. The fish was cooked well with a large portion of home made chips, however for me they were cut too fat, it's worth a visit if your partial to Fish and Chips There is often fierce debates on a few of the Pattaya FB pages about Sharples, quite funny sometimes.
  11. If ever proof were needed of AN going to the dogs just read the 6 pages of nonsense i just went through. Can't believe i continued with it, should of known better given the posters involved.
  12. I think the OP is correct, there are lots of dramas showing on the UK Netflix not available here, and currently what is available is mainly rubbish.
  13. You seem to have a problem with No.3 why can't you just ignore all the nonsense posted on his social media like most of us do ?
  14. your so full of crap, many times on here you have mentioned how you pay the mortgage on the place you stay.
  15. Did you conveniently ignore the word claims ? Why don't you give it a rest, if you had followed the build up to the final and the reporting after you would have seen a healthy respect for the Spanish team and after i haven't read one article that suggests the Spanish were anything other than the better team and deserved winners.
  16. what are you talking about, if you read the article you would know it clearly states England were outplayed by the Spanish, which they were. You anti-English rants are quite tiresome.
  17. You seem to have problems with basic understanding, it states paid sex does not come under adultery , the past occupation of the spouse is immaterial.
  18. You have to laugh at the Aussies whinging now, talk about desperate. An earlier post mentioned the topic of discussion was the Ashes test series but difficult to debate with such one eyed members with very little knowledge of the game of cricket. I was so happy we managed to draw the series after another nail biting test. Like all of the other matches the 5th test swung both ways before England grabbed the initiative in that last session. 2-2 is a fair reflection of two evenly matched sides who treated us cricket fans to a thrilling series. No point talking about the 4th test, nearly 2 full days lost to rain, despite Englands strong position it still could of gone either way.
  19. You have constantly accused other posters of bias and whinging and yet having read this sorry <deleted> thread in its entirety i do wonder if you have ever heard of the pot and kettle anecdote. You're seriously embarrassing.
  20. was planning on congratulating Australia on retaining the Ashes, but as the thread is full of whining Aussies talking nonsense i won't bother. Shame the weather got in the way of what up till now was a cracking test series that despite the uneducated comments from the Aussies on here, could have gone either way. Actually i am better than that, congratulations on retaining the Ashes.
  21. Yeah ok mate. This post and many of your other replies just reinforce my belief that you don't really have any idea about Thailand and what goes on at the many levels of Thai society, just posting from your Darwin bedsit. The only reply you would probably get is a right hander. To stay on topic, 1st wife met at a wedding, 2nd wife worked at the same company.
  22. Whilst i agree the Bairstow incident was definitely out, if you actually read most of the comments from actual cricket writers and supporters back in England you would also notice most of them agree it was out. Bairstow was an idiot for not staying in his crease. But the irony of a thread full of comments on English bad behaviour whilst the Aussies have Steve Smith in their side is too funny.
