Why on earth would 'qualified' tourists go to Pattaya ? the beaches are poor, sea polluted and the town is jammed with traffic. Black market money from Russians fueling the property market & cheapskate Russians from Siberia on 2 week budget packages. Seems only the sexpats are willing to put up with such poor facilities, not your average tourist who has the pick of many decent beaches in Thailand.

Pattaya needs raising to the ground urgent ! thats the only change worthwhile.

The potential for these islands is massive. If they cleared the islands of drugged up idiots spending 500 Baht a day, these islands could become a diving paradise. Do you have any idea how much income that would generate?

If I may make a suggestion the weapon used was a hoe in all my time here I never seen a farang buy a gardening tool. Now I know I'm not at every store in the nation 24-7 but I think I would be focusing in on Thai's now. Since there use to police calling all death's of farang's suicide. and end of search. I agree that leaving a new employee in a position of trust on the first day was very unwise but the police check ? get real, the police in Europe would not give out that info about an employee, there are privacy laws in play.
