  1. Ghosts most certainly are not innocuous. They often are the cause of death here.
  2. 'Jai Bun' often translates to 'humanitarian'. Looking after a beast that kills humans is most definitely not humanitarian, it is stupid and 'Jai Rai'. Kill these monsters any chance you get.
  3. I was taking Salmeterol/Fluticasone Propionate 50/500 mcg in the form of a Seretide Acuhaler 2 times a day. Now, taking Salmeterol/Fluticasone Propionate 50/250 mcg in the morning and 50/500 mcg at night. No real difference to note, so going to change to the lower dose, 50/250 mcg twice a day. I can't find any timeline suggestion for this, so going to do it as slow/fast as I feel comfortable with.
  4. I went there with a suspected heart attack, so said my GP in Khon Kaen. After waiting 2 hours, thinking about how my kids would survive without me, the doctor said, "why are you here, there's nothing wrong with you"! Have heard mixed reports about this hospital.
  5. Maybe that depends on the severity of your insomnia and your life. If you have to work for a living, it's better to feel groggy in the morning, take some strong coffee, than not get any sleep and do a bad day's work. I've tried many things, now melatonin works. In the past, Trazadone did, but not more than once a week.
  6. I guess my 2 large bottles of Sang Thip 'whisky' and a few large bottles of Chang a day, for a few years haven't helped my chances.
  7. ????Quite a resentment brewing there. Immigration are cops. They are most certainly not weak, little men. One thing Thailand has more than Burma is tolerance and acceptance of what one can't change.
  8. My apologies, was just trying to help. I won't bother next time. No backtracking at all. Can't you see I gave the name of a second hand car parts area of Bangkok?
  9. Atheist have never even glimpsed the realm of the sacred yet get worked up about something they don't believe in. They use the word 'God' without understanding the infinite vastness behind the word. They use it with great conviction, as if they understood what they are denying, which obviously they don't.
  10. I guess it depends how rich you are. Pay 30k for a new one that they buy for 10k if you are comfortable with that. If you are a stingy Scotsman, buy a second hand engine for 5k, doesn't have to be a Honda, take it to the local technical college and ask the students there to fit it, giving the motor mechanic teacher a couple thousand baht to oversee.
  11. No, a second hand engine. Why put a new engine into an old car?

  13. Price of a new engine should only be about 10k. Are you neat Chiang Kong? เซียงกงบางนา ซอย 4 บางพลี, Bang Phli District
  14. The only scoffer at God are the ones who have not experienced divine presence. Not sure how old you are but better to dedicate your life to understanding and experience the power of the spirit rather than ridiculing.
  15. This company should be reported, obviously they are bribing Immigration.
  16. If any pensioner has 800k in the bank with no will, then they obviously can afford to lose it.
  17. Indeed, these agents and the corrupt foreigners are directly responsible for those requirements getting more difficult to meet.
  18. Asian women are over-rated and lose their appeal after 10 years or so. I am looking forward to going to Holland next month to see the exotic women there.
  19. What makes me laugh is seeing princess Anne sing Flower if Scotland. I like the Welsh, many drunken nights in Rose Street with them. Also the French and Irish.
  20. It's called generalisation based on experience.
  21. I never mentioned legality of marriage. It's Larry. The stories I could tell you of Thai son in laws!
  22. Not good advice, I know a guy whose wife divorced him in california, took half his assets.
