  1. Took me over 1 minute to sign in just now.
  2. No, it isn't on the list, as it's illegal.
  3. No idea how you come to that conclusion. I don't know many Brits who went to boarding school. Personally, I didn't, havent(well once when drunk), and have no intention to befriend ladyboys.
  4. He married an elephant?
  5. Thai doctors' egos are so big. They have too high a rung on the hierarchical social ladder; the same one that foreigners can't even get on. She was in the wrong, accept it.
  6. He should start with his own crew, the police run illegal activities in that area.
  7. If I am not mistaken, the OP posted a pic of his 'young' g/f
  8. No comments by @Morch@bkkbrian@elephantplichard??
  9. Maybe was messing ROUND WITH THE UNI STUDENTS?
  10. Did you buy any BTC when I told you to when it was under $17k last year?
  11. The world should have trade bans on US products. The USA make most of the bombs that kill innocent women and children in Gaza. tens of thousands of them.
  12. Fair enough. The retired Norwegian seamen seem to be happy getting a Buriram Noi who is 20/30 years their younger; wouldn't happen in Norway. Similarly the sexpats in Pattaya love Thailand for sex but then complain when they are treated as lower class citizens.
  13. I also know many cases where Westerners are treated fairly, or got special treatment. Of course, they weren't sex pats. Sex pats are not liked in any country.
  14. You sound bitter, I wonder of you are over 60?
  15. Makes a huge difference! If the g/f was Buriram Noi, they would see that your influence would likely be very low.
  16. No rear. I'll know next time to grab his keys.
  17. Everyone has influence to some degree. Maybe slightly more than the guy scavanges my bin. I was a university lecturer about 20 years ago. I had an accident, a car drove at me on the wrong side(was overtaking) on a small Mahasarakham road. I broke some bones in my foot, the local policeman came and tried to say it was my fault. I made a call to my boss at the uni. He came and we saw the chief of Police at Chiang Yeun. My boss and chief came to an agreement where I'd get 1 month salary as compensation and all my hospital bills paid. The copper's son was going to the uni the next year. His insurance agreed to fix my car. it took longer than they said and I had to rent a car. insurance said they wouldn't pay. Head policeman in Khon Kaen was contacted and said he would sort it out. Had to wait a couple of months as he became a Senator. There was a military coup, kicking out Taksin, so this guy had to flee. Thought it was over until someone at my tennis club said they could help. So farang can get influence, not often by their own doing but by who they know.
  18. A biker crashed into the back of my car, smashing the rear brake lights. 12,000 baht for a new one. He sped off, I hate these types
  19. I mean in Thai. Nothing to do with being white or brown, Thais who are illiterate get the same treatment.
  20. Rubbish. It's all to do with who has most influence, and the foreigner in question obviously doesn't have any. If you are living here for a long time, you have to integrate and get influence or you'll be run over. I wouldn't be surprised if the OP is illiterate so is easy meat.
