For any other country buying buses is a basic purchase, even it might include a free luch or two. Here the deal is intentially complex so that hiding the money is easy, in the leasing, buyback, maintenance figures etc.

Good habits. Thais are always above board in their personal and business dealings. Their word is their bond. Charitable giving by the Thai rich is massive and publicly known. Thais take so much responsibility for their actions and behavior it makes others feel inferior. Thais never expect anything special or to be treated differently. Thai respect for law and rules of the road is amazing. Thais work very diligently , always deliver on promise, and know and understand the concept of achievement. Thais respect others in every endeavor especially the poor and foreign persons. Thais are extremely knowledgable and well read. Thais hold personal character and morality in very high esteem and would never sell out.

I had a nightmare experience with samples to Israel. Sat in BKK for 4 days, then said they could not deliver and was sitting undelivered near my potential customer, several trips to the PO at Jomtien, Sukamvit to find out exactly where it was because tracking was saying picked up. I grew up on a beach, so understand what red flags are, but I am sure that most people in the world do not. They may even think it means swim here.

Even in Australia there are signs put up "Beach Closed Dangerous" etc, and the life guards would warn you off. I saw an Asian guy on Samui drown ( just after ) in shallow water years back. one foot waves and shallow out a hundred metres.

Also people from many non-swimming countries like England ( lol ) would try and fight the rips until they tire and drown. Waves have power for sure in Phuket.

In Australia passing over double yellow lines is a serious penalty. Problem here is the police never stop anyone that is moving ( rare ).
