Has the TM30 registration actually been approved with  us this took 3 3days then we could complete the actual TM30 for me.

Also the site a bit fussy with how you load data. You need to see the green tick against property address as approved before you cñ load the actual TM30 for you. You need then print this TM30  page as you cannot find it in a search after 7 days. 

I have purchased several Makita copy batteries from Lazada and Allied Express. All are good but I am not a tradie using them every day I am only an ocasional fixit handyman in my own home. Not had any issues. You can get batteries depending on capacity from 400-700 baht. There are higher capacity batteries that cost more but I find them a bit heavy on the tools.  I cannot recommend any as they come and go on Lazada and Allied Express all the time. I have also repaired an existing Ryobi battery pack when I got stuck in Australia during COVID. If you can solider you can just purchase new batteries and replace the current ones in your Makita pack as long you can open pack and work on it. 

TTB App supports paying both MEA and PEA bills. It seems directly linked to MEA and PEA and shows the amount owing once the bill in the system the next day after read the meter. If you save as favorites in the app and it takes less 10sec to pay a bill and it saves the receipt on your phone.  I have also use the Bangkok bank for MEA, The TTB app is year ahead of Bangkok banks app. I not used Kbank app for much so no experience there.

Back in Chang Wattana since early this year cannot remember when.

I had similar thoughts on roaming charges also some tourist buy local sIms but others only use on hotel WiFi. The other issue I seen at least on Google apps is the Thais set them as only available if the Google location is set to Thailand which it is not for any tourist so you cannot download the app! 

A Thai friend who used work at the Bank of Thailand says the main issue is Thai Bank staff in general are poorly trained so they really don't know the rules. I was renewing my ATM card at TMB a couple year ago and they asked for my work permit, I explianed I was now retired on a Non O extension, eventually called a The supervisor/manager all ok new ATM card issued. I have never closed any of my accounts with 3 different Thai banks I opened in Thailand as I think they are some sort of asset once you have them open.

I am stuck in Australia,  Non O expires May 10th. I am resigned to the fact I have to start again whenever I can return to Thailand. I am not sure Austrlians will be allowed to leave Australia before Jan 2021 except maybe to travel to New Zealand.  Finger cross it a lot earlier than that.

I thought it was illegal to sell a locked phone handset in Thailand? I had one I had as an backup phone, I gave to a Thai relative it was True phone worked fine on AIS.

I know this ben said before. The 90day Online reporting only works with Internet Explorer which is still available even with Windows 10 in the Windows Accesories area. I believe I.E. it can be downloaded for Apple Mac but not being an Apple user I never tested this. I have been using ever since system went live for Bangkok (CW) and only had issues when the sysyem went down for seveal months a few years ago. 

I am using Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android 9 and the Sect 38 app is not compatible this phone this is not an old phone or an old version of android.  I have loaded both the other apps ok and registered for 90 day reporting via the app. The one I really want is the Sect 38 app and this is the one that does load.  The normal approach with software development is 80/20 i.e develop for the most common 80% of devices and versions of software.  

At CW in May when I was renewing my permission to stay I got all the way though the renew process with the IO and she then pointed out my TM30 showed me staying at hotel up country in Thailand where I been on a short holiday out side Bangkok. I was then sent to do TM30 with the Condo lease I had for the condo I stay in even though the lease is in my Thai wife name not mine. I then went back to the IO and she completed the renewal. So my suggestion is you go and do a TM30 first either on the day or before if it not too far away and then do the renewal. 

 1. 90 day online reporting only works on Internet Explorer 11 (not the Edge browser on Windows 10 either) or maybe earlier versions of IE. It does not work with Google Chrome or Firefox or Safari browsers or any other internet browser.

2. Your passport must be on file via the Thai Immigration computer system at a major Thai airport or entry point. If you got a new passport in Thailand it will not work until you reenter the country on that passport. 

3. If you have not exited and reentered Thailand for a while i.e a few years your not on the computer system and it will not work.

I was at Chiang Wattana  Immigration 2 years ago renewing own permission to stay, when an elderly man arrived on a ambulance trolley with his Thai wife and two ambulance officers moving him around. To their credit CW immigration officials looked after him very promptly, he did not have to wait in the queue and his permission to stay was renewed within 20 mins and he was taken away in the ambulance again. 

I think by contrast Bangkok at Chaeng Wattana where I renewed my permission to say (retirement) yesterday 7th April it is due on May 10th 2016.. Now renewed until May10th 2017. No problem except for the number of people there yesterday after Wednesday public holiday. It actually took much longer for me to get the multiple re-entry permit than it did the permission to stay 1 year. Arrived at 8:35am left at 3:00pm. But no under consideration just stamped approved and done for another year. As I now successfully do my 90 reports online it is only one day a year of my life I spend at CW. I also noted you can now make an online appointment for the re-entry permit which i try to do next year. Be nice if we could get soft copies of the extra forms you need to sign about over staying as it would help immigration to speed up a little. It is actually fairly quick at CW but their just over whelmed by the numbers of people ever day.

The 90day reporting online is working fine for me it was approved next day saves any trips to CW. Not sure if other locations are working the quickly Do your report that way no hassles.

TMB Bank have a Nofixed account which is currently paying 2.00% as long as the balance remains unchanged or increases each month if you withdraw you loses bonus interest for that month drops back to 1.5% or something like that. Interest is paid to you twice yearly. That is best I been able to find here in the current environment. I have used this for last to years to renew my extension to say retirement.

So your entering on Visa exemption not on a tourist visa. From what i can tell on the 6 entry you will be called aside and question and it likely to be your last entry but not sure if its just in that year only or for 12 months. As other have advised you can easily get a tourist visa or double entry tourist visa which can be extended at immigration for 1900 Baht for a further 30 days. Not sure how many tourist visas you can get before they ask you questions on entry. Please be aware that regulations have changed several times since the coupe and may change again.

Did my 90 day report at immigration Suksawat (Major Hollywood) today Opens at 10:30am. I arrived at 10:15 given ticket no 5 was immediately called to the counter. Process in one minute out the door before 10:20. This is absolutely brilliant service. Well done immigration Dept. For me it is a 20 minute taxi ride from Sathorn via Bhomipol 1 Bridge about 90 baht each way was back home by 10:40. So so much better than going to Changwattana. I guess the only thing quicker is a 90 day report buy mail might try that next.

They work best if your on the same power circuit i.e. both power points are on the same circuit breaker (ideally the same cable run) also the slower one 100Mbs will work over much longer distance than the faster one i.e. 500 Mbps.

I run my air at 27 and don't think any colder than 25 is necessary as it is to much of a shock to your body when you go outside. The bill for last month (April) is the highest for the year over a 3 year period that been keeping records here in Bangkok and yes it can be close to double or more for the cooler months here when i only us the Fan. It not only the Air Con that uses power in the hotter months your fridge works hard as well if you not home and the air is off. It also depends how many hours you are home each day with the air on.

I have checked all the banks I use here and there now ok. They would have most likely have been exposed before and patched now.

1. Check your bank by cutting and pasting the secure link to the bank eg https://ibanking.bangkokbank.com/SignOn.aspx (link must start with https:) into the test link page above if your bank is now patched and now ok.

2. Change your password now.

3. I strongly recommend you change your password on every website you have an account on especially those with financial ramifications e.g. Banks PayPal, eBay, etc. etc.

There are many good programs like Dashlane https://www.dashlane.com/ to store your password securely and have more complex secure passwords that can help you with this .

If your try doing 90 report by mail in Bangkok and getting no reply it is because immigration at Chaengwattana is closed. This is the address for 90 day reports I believe.

I was at Sukwatsuk Immigration (one of the 2 temporary offices in Bangkok) last Thursday renewing my Non O Visa and asked about 90 day reporting by mail and the officer said you cannot use mail at the moment because of Chaengwattana being closed.

I presume there are all stacked up in a mail bag somewhere. I have not seen on the immigration web site a notice not telling people not to do 90 report by mail so not sure if your covered or not because of this.
