  1. I was looking up something the other day on the net,As to the legal age of consent around the world especially Thailand,I was horrified to find the legal age of consent in Costa Rica is 12,Yes twelve years old,

Isn't that where GG ended up,Now he is still in Cambodia,

IMHO They should castrate and give the peads Bromine jabs to the scrotum, all without aneasethic.

  2. Shopping with my Thai fiance last week,At Tesco's in deepest darkest Ilford,Essex,I wondered off to get some popcorn, and i nearly died,2 Thais,One fem and the other a lady boy without the makeup,

So off i went to get my partner,Spooke to her in Thai, about Katoey,Wearing sua sii daeeng,They only walk around the corner as i blurted it out,

Scared the ###### out of me,Absolutely last place i expected to see one.

  3. Miller Light (? must have got it cheap)

    Or blind drunk..... ! :o

A nice ice cold glass of cider would go down nice somedays when in LOS ( Blackthorn pref.)

    totster :D

Totster i am a cider man too,I love draught Scrumpy Jack,or Strongbow,I took 6 bottles with me last time,It didn't last long though.

  4. We both are soulmates, inseperable in the last 3.5 years,Best friend and best sex partner i ever had or likely to have,We have 100% trust over money,We both still cannot stop talking about anything,Plus we have a ability to sometimes answer each others question without the other finishing the sentence Spooky.

Nothing can come close to my Tee Rak. :D

PS She is the first partner i have been with that is actually older than me :o

  5. How can anyone be so bitter and twisted to behave in this way?Knowing that he was sentencing these poor girls to a death sentence,Selfish disgusting Bastard,I hope he dies a agonising death from aids in Bangkok Hilton,

We had this here last year a African guy infected his partner and others deliberetly and i think he was jailed for attempted murder.

  6. As the motorbike... the little Honda Wave type cycles running around with 3/4/5 people on one bike... seems to be the economical transportion device for transporting up to an entire family to/from the market, school, etc. I'd have to say the lowly little pickup truck has got to be the lifeblood of Thailand.

All who have been to Thailand must have seen (either on the road, or beside the road turned over) the pickups that have been stacked 3 meters high with whatever. Well, I just got back from Thailand and had an amusing 5AM drive to Bangkok International from a couple hours north of Bangkok. I saw my share of stacked to gills trucks, but I also remember 3 different pickups carrying things that made me laugh, or shake my head.

    1. 5am on Sunday must be the magic time for all the workers, or whoever they are, to be transported into Bangkok. I saw a large amount of pickups literally stuffed with people (moreso than the usual "taxi" type truck). My fiance's brother was even suprised by all the people and wondered where they were going. Anyway, one particular truck had people bleeding out onto the tailgate that had been let down.. There was a rope tied across the opening, and one fellow had his feet dangling down to just above the road with the rest of his upper body resting full on the rope while he slept!

    2. Standard ratty old pickup transporting a ~5 to 6 meter and at least .5 meter in diameter palm tree with the dirt/root ball intact. Looked like it was about on the verge of doing a 100kmh wheelie down the expressway. At least it made the steering pretty light.

    3. I never would have thought you cold put 9 Honda Wave motorbikes (1 high) in the back of a small truck... guess if they would have been second hand there probably would have been at least 18.

What are some of the interesting things you have seen being shipped in the back of one of these pickup trucks?

    maikee

on a par with that tree,4 standard size yanks has to be tipping the wheel base payload :o

  7. My will is set up,Also my pension is also nominated incase i die,

There is nothing worse than seeing the property and money going to the wrong people,

I had it with my parents,When they both died,I am the eldest son and ended up with nothing,

One thing is for sure,My partner and children won't suffer the same as i did.

  8. When before my Thai days,I lived in a posh suburb ran my own business,Kept up and beat living with the Jones's,But boy was i unhappy,Used to work every hour god made, was hardly ever at home to put the kids to bed but sometimes got home to have breakfast with them,To be honest they hardly knew me,

    Cut a long story short,

So after a lot of asking from my friends (Boy they were persistant)I agreed to go to LOS,

That's when it all started to sink in,for me.

I went to stay in a little village near to Sii Kao,Lived with some Cambodian monks for a few days,I refused to stay in the local 20kms away motel,

So i lived like a Thai for 3 days and 2 nights,

I was even blessed by a Buddhist monk,at 7am in the morning sitting on the edge of a cliff,He said it was to remove the bad things in my body,as i had been previously divorced,I actually felt so fresh after this,Maybe it was the cold water he spat over me at the endor the cold showers,But that will remain with me for the rest of my life,

I know have a total new outlook on life,

When i go to Los,I always choose Issan to stay,as i have friends there,I don't drink with the locals,I hire a minivan and load it up,Then adventure out with the kids to a Temple,Buy them lunch and some goodies, then take them home at dusk,It makes me feel good to see the kids laughing and joking with big broad smiles,Better than getting drunk with the Local Men,

Now i have met the most amazing lady in the world,Who asks for nothing,But gives everything,My life now has done a complete 180 degrees,But i am more happier than i have ever been,I live a humble life here in London,Saving up for our big move,That's if the B/F will let us,Bird Flu i mean haha!

I know i will always have to come back to the UK.But i always lok forward more to going back to Los and seeing the Paddy fields as we decline coming into Don Muang.

But i am with the OP 100% i completely understand.

PS Most of the guys in Pataya/Nana on a 2 week session don't even know Thailand.

  9. Hi,I have learnt the hard way so many times over the years,You get what you pay for,Unless you are a expert in any one field and can build it yourself from parts,

A friend said to me the other day"Look at that Dell £375 inc of monitor, but what the heck is inside of it,plus there's a £30 delivery charge, and if it goes wrong you have to phone a high rate number to get advice at £0.50 min,

I use my computer about 16 hours a day, between the family,SO went for a good one,With all the back up with internet online service as well,

Try find a farang or better still someone here will help.

2 cards seems very strange, surely the first one was under warranty,Did he take it from a box with a sealed silver bag?Sounds like you are getting inferior parts,

  10. Thaicoon you are way to generous for your own good,You should've tried to tie up the money in your own name for the property,Or after he abused your generosity once then there is no more,

I too have helped many people out,Got stung with 2 different people for uite a bit of money, and they were family :o But i wouldn't dream of asking for help myself,But the good ones always get taken for a ride,Live and learn my friend.

Never bite the hand that feeds you :D

  11. Phrao, most likely.

Phrao is North of Chiang Mai, past Mae Jo and then much further. There's not a lot there. Kind of like Pai before it became "Pai". :-)

    Cheers,

    Chanchao

Might have been Phrae as well,Only Ajarn can tell us :o

  12. Harry i had a little bit of respect for you before this post,As i truely felt sorry for you,But now?

You are just a 100% idiot,I don't make do with my Fiance,She is more than any other woman could ever be,regardless of race,As for being bought, you are either pissed/Yaa baa'd up as there is something really clouding your judgement and thinking.

  13. I knew a guy,I was really jealous of him,He had a business in Los would drink all day in his Bar,and generally do nothing,He came to Los at 28,and at 40 he was dead,

Some people can have it too good sometimes,You need to keep your mind and body active,If i was living on a shoe string,I would rather do it here in the UK,Rather than living in Los getting bored, and frustrated,Waiting for the next visa run,I tihnk some of you guys need to have 6 months back in your own country and then return to Los,Holidays are always so different to actually living in a place full time,
