  1. Hazey Jane without the lush string production . Just Nick and his guitar.
  2. The passion, the exuberance!
  3. I believe Srettha has the right to stand again for the post of PM, as Samak once did. Only that time Thaksin betrayed Samak, choosing Somchai, his brother-in-law instead when it came to voting
  4. Thaksin did not spend one day in prison despite being sentenced to 8 years. Some people surmise a deal was struck, shock/ horror! 'Come back, all is forgiven. Be a good boy, join our side and keep out those nasty MF types'. Pheu Thai joined the military despite promising the electorate they would not. Thaksin has an 112 charge hanging over him Thaksin owns Pheu Thai No significant changes to the constitution will happen whilst The military parties form the government with Pheu Thai.
  5. Did Thaksin serve the 8 years in prison he was sentenced to on one offence? No, he didn't spend even one day in jail Did Pheu Thai, Thaksin's party, join with the parties supporting the military? Yes.
  6. White boys doing good impressions of their black heroes before launching into their own numbers.
  7. 59 years ago rocking the good ole US
  8. Thaksin was allowed back with all charges dropped. By coincidence of course, Thaksin's party joined its arch junta rivals and formed the conservative government in power, excluding MF. PT will not want to rock the boat overseeing meaningful democratic reform of the constitution if it endangers its position in the government, and for Thaksin, his own personal future with a 112 charge hanging over his head.
  9. The good doctor hasn't given up trying to exterminate the PP. Saying branch offices have to have been open for at least a year, just opening them doesn't count. Incidentally, Thaksin is suing him for millions for insinuating Thaksin went to Hong Kong to arrange a secret deal with officials.
  10. Seeing Thaksin's freedom depends on him being a 'good'person that ain't gonna happen.
  11. If I remember right, any change to the constitution requires a majority vote from the Senate. A difficult task as it's stuffed with conservatives supporting Anuthin's party
  12. The secretary-general of the Election Commission (EC) has dismissed a challenge to the status of the People's Party, the reincarnation of the disbanded Move Forward Party, saying the new party has just opened branches in all regions of the country.5
  13. Perhaps, but their other major reforms, particularly of the military, and of industry, end of monopolies, for example, would have made them enemies of the elite anyway. The lightning rod of 112 let the Thai public know who was genuinely interested in meaningful reform of Thailand society, imo.
  14. Have to disagree. Who would have voted for MF if they hadn't revealed their plans for reform?
  15. That great riff just cries out for Mick Taylor on lead!
  16. Don't know about that. All the MPs that turned to other parties when Future Forward was banned lost their seats in the subsequent election. Move Forward have a backup party to move to. Meanwhile Pita etc will still maintain a public profile as Thanathorn, Piyabutr, Chor, the ex leaders of FF, do in the Progressive Movement.
  17. Love Spanish and its offshoots music
