It is just possible that if the router was supplied by the ISP, you would do well to replace it with a good wireless router and skip the cabling.
Maybe they've improved over the last few years but the ones included with installation were a tad junky.
I've thought about that as I DISLIKE HAVING WIRES ALL AROUND.
Is it easy to configure a new router ?? Or do I need a specialist ?
It's easy to configure but buy a trusted brand and recommended model, not that which a certain shop may wish to flog. DLink, Linksys and Netgear are among the good brands.
Thanks again Rob. I'll keep that in mind.

There is a shop on the corner at Worowat across from the big building that carries every conceivable fabric....they must have matching threads.....there is a store in Hang Dong market to the left of the open stalls that has varieties of thread....there is a crochet millinery store on the street closest to the train station that has a signal about 300 meters off the main street on the park side....
The name is Kul shop.

"Praise" fat free salad dressing sells at Makro for 59 Baht/bottle and a staggering 109 Baht at Rimping. That's almost 50 %.

Thanks for all the replies. I bought a ready made 10 m wire at computer city for 150 Baht. The 5 m is 100 Baht.
Not shure about the quality, but it works.

IT Square, Computer Plaza, Panthip ... or any local PC shop will make to order.
Thank you. Will they do while I'm waiting ?
Most of the shops have workshops onsite or nearby and if cable not 'in stock' it should only take 15mins to sort.
Cheers Rob.

To connect my computer to the router port, I need long wire (5 meters). Any idea where to find in CNX ? Thanks.

Sounds like another case of... coming from the very left side of the road to take a right turn
I have seen this practice going on for some twenty years now. Will they ever learn ?
Often, people pull across to get to a U turn, one has to be very cautious when aproaching a U turn.

Hope they will catch all of them.

Bummer. Is that the best that the Americans have for president? They are doomed.
Why so negative ?
