Poor planning on disposal of body parts suggests lack of premeditation. Great effort made to conceal identity (removal of head, burning of arms/legs) suggests perpetrator knew that there was a high risk that if body is identified, suspect(s) would also be quickly identified. Failure to anticipate that identity can be confirmed through DNA link with relatives, suggests lack of criminal sophistication and probable low educational level of perpetrator.
If it was a drug deal gone bad, with only transient relationship between victim and perpetrator, need to conceal identity of victim wouldn't be that high. I'm thinking victim was offed for financial gain by known close associate, probably a romantic partner who had help disposing of body from family members or friends.

does not seem to be much point in visiting thailand in the near future. for most people, their vacation is 2-3 weeks. i personally would not want to spend the bulk of my vacation, or even its entirety, holed up in a thai mandated hotel, after paying pretty big money for the health insurance and the hotel, where one will probably be gouged mercilessly. oh well, i hear there are other places with the things people travel to thailand for.

I think there are probably more BIB that despise the boy than there are big shots that persist in trying exonerating him.
If returning to Thailand, I would keep watching my back if I were him.yes, i was thinking the same thing.

I am shorter now as It is difficult to straighten my legs and when standing, for example preparing food my legs bend at the knees and causes me to lean forwards. I have to concentrate hard on keeping my legs straight, doesn't hurt but its, shall we say inconvenient.
I eat little in the way of fat as I am on a vegan diet, I do use olive oil for cooking, no added sugar and prefer to eat low sugar fruits.i'm no nutritionist, but i just notice that you are vegan. how do you meet your protein requirements?

if you eat more it just goes on as fat? or can't put weight on?
yes, i can gain weight no problem, but it's not the kind of weight i want. another part of the problem is that i can't lift the heavy weights that i used to, due to joint deterioration in shoulders and elbows (rotator cuffs , etc. ) this makes it harder to build muscle mass.
-
with age come many unhappy developments. i'm 68, and though i am the same weight i was 25 years ago, i am 3 inches shorter, and have lost a lot of muscle mass. and although i still work out a couple hours a day, it is no longer fun, and it's very hard to gain muscle mass.

and to think i once considered retiring there. guess i'll stay in the US, where at least i have medicare, and the 134 a month taken out of my SS check seems very reasonable compared to this price.

Somehow, using a country with a disproportionate portion of elderly people, and a fairly poor medical system as a comparison, to the nation that loves to pride itself on being number one in everything, feels like a fairly pathetic and desperate comparison. In this case, the US is number one. In total Covid cases. Not exactly a point of pride. Nor are the 1,457,593 cases, and the 86.912 deaths. Sounds more like a broken medical system, and a broken nation to me. But, hey just my opinion as an American, who has had the great fortune to be able to leave the country, and live somewhere where the people are not so disappointed, bitter, cold, and disenfranchised.

And yet the amount of armchair epidemiologists is through the roof. These are the same Einsteins who went to a packed restaurant on Mother's Day just to show how tough they are. Then, they complain about restrictions???? If anyone had common sense they'd be able to open and keep the virus from surging again. Maybe this is all evolution.

Narcotics Anonymous. Same program, same traditions and same 12 steps as AA, but geared toward people addicted to other substances. The flavor and ambiance of the meeting is usually a little different, but the concepts are the same.
As for addiction to meetings, I've never come to laying in a pile of fire ants after going to too many meetings. Besides, it helped to have something safe to do and great people to hang out with when the entire life I built around getting high or drunk no longer served me. I don't go to meetings because I have to. I go because I love them. And the meeting before the meeting and the one after, where we hang out instead of going to bars. That's with 31+ years.

Narcotics Anonymous. Addiction is a lifelong disease. It needs to be treated for the duration, much like diabetes. And no, I'm not "addicted to meetings" . As another poster said, I attend because i like them. i see my friends there, go out to dinner after, etc, etc. and i attend many more now online because many of us are basically supposed to stay home.
