Thanks Al.
Seems fair
But any input from others welcome

My wife put the bike up for sale (with no price!) and had several replies.
I heard prices are down a bit because there are retro style bikes from China around.
However they look cheap. A Phantom is a very solid reliable bike, and average about 750 km/year must be very rare.
What should we ask guys?

If the scratches are thru the paint you are SOL barring a repaint.
Unfortunately
Light surface rust may be able to be removed - any abrasive may do it - even toothpaste
Bike looks good
Sorry to hear of your health problems
Thanks CanThai
I have a feeling it depends if it's through the clcearcoat and the colour coat I'm SOL but am her to be educated.
I should mention the year is 2546 wife got the wrong book.
Be interested in the right asking price too.

Hi
I bought a Phantom a few years ago. It had some years on it born 2534 but looked like it came out of Jay Leno's garage........ mechanics perfect, very low mileage, it had been kept in perfect conditions in an underground condo car park and the owner only used it a short while each year when visiting Thailand, hence the v low km 14,400.
I added Dunlop tyres I ordered from Japan and saddlebags from CR saddlebags to go with the GIVI rear box.
I also barely rode it as I used a bicycle more, and now have Parkinson's so because of balance have decided to pass it on.
I don't have much time but I'd like to make it presentable.
Well I could get a good clean done but there are a couple of things beyond a normal clean.
1. Some kind soul keyed the painted panels.
I don't want to do the full monty but I'd be interested if experts here think the scratches could be filled with coloured wax or whatever for a quick job.
ps: the bottom pic has scratches but is also reflections.
2. The studs and fittings on the saddle bags have some light rust.....I have some silver polish somewhere......would that be good?
I guess the last question is am I as well off to just give it a clean and sell as is and let someone else do the touching up.
thanks

Funny this should come up good idea Orang.
I love good poetry and keep a few bits and quotes on the iPad.
I had thought that if I spend more time at home in future it might be something nice to do.
I should have been a pair of ragged claws

I don't think you can use the app twice (lite or not). I do use the android app and the google chrome extension on my PC: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/line/menkifleemblimdogmoihpfopnplikde?hl=en
This from help.line.me
Using LINE on Multiple Devices
Can I use the same LINE account on multiple devices?toggleYes, you can log in to your LINE account on other devices using LINE Lite or the iPad, Windows, or Mac version of LINE. -
Whilst much appreciated the solutions suggested in the last few posts seem a bit indefinite.
I just tried to do it the easy way and follow Don Mega's idea in #3
transfer line back to the i-pad and install line light on the android.
I successfully transferred my acct back from Android to iPad.
When I try to download Line Lite to Android I cant seem to do so......it seems to come up with Facebook Lite.
Would someone mind trying a Lite download.
I would say it looked like a file downloaded I cant even find that

Elsewhere it has been reported that Embassies were being asked to provide feedback on the new system requiring insurance.
Of course they did not do anything wrong but, as they have issued visas to people based on the understanding that the insurance was not required before the 31st, they need to know that some Immigration officers at airports are enforcing the requirement on people with visas issued earlier.
We have had many reports of people holding O-As issued by this Embassy prior to Oct 31 calling them to see if they would have a problem and being told no. At a minimum the Embassy might advise otherwise given this information. But they won't know if not told.
They do have channels open to them to report the problem.
The tighter the feedback the more intelligent the system!

That price sounds way too low to me. Which BDMS hospital? At most of them I'd expect it to be around 150K. At less expensive private hospitals (non-profits and mid-range hospitals) it would be around 100k if in Bangkok area, maybe a bit less upcountry but not as low as 50K. I suspect that is not an all inclusive price, might be just the surgeon's fee.
I have a nephew who paid 80K for this some 8 years ago at St Louis Hospital, a private non-profit. Just to give you an idea. And costs have goner up since then.
It would of course be much cheaper at a government hospital. 20-30k would be my guess.
Hi Sheryl
I along with three other people were done in Britain in and out the same day.
It was a model of efficiency and no prob since.
Just wondering if that is possible here to save the OP money.....or is it an age thing?

No, but is a possible work around for you no sim car issue.
How did you install line on the ipad originally ?
Honestly I can't remember but surely it can be done eh?
The only thing i remember is I could not search by phone number which was a slight nuisance.
Who knows why? Perhaps someone here!

Thanks to all but if this will work it would be just fine.
Have you actually done this Don Mega?

I have a new android phone, and an iPad mini (and a macbook air)
When the phone guy loaded the phone apps he transferred my LINE from the iPad (nothing on the old phone) to the Android.
I then read that I can have Line on two devices including the iPad using something called LINE LITE
Went back to the shop, he disagreed.
Read further and learned LINE LITE can only be installed on devices with a Sim card.
Is this all right, meaning only one device?
If so I'd like to transfer the LINE app back to the iPad.....a bit crazy as I have to start hotspot internet from the phone to the iPad.......but I find it awful typing on the phone with the size of my hands.
Presume that's do-able?
Or is there a cleverer solution?
Thanks?

Block sender or report as phishing
Hmmm
don't know how to block a sender when they just open a tab out of the blue.
Have reported.
Still happening.
Actually whats much more annoying right now is the Regency Healthcare repeated ads I cant seem to open anything without one of their ads appearing......most annoying is you tube....again and again and again
Seems to me this is almost like stalking.....is there no way round this repetitive advertising?
I certainly would never buy a product from them now.

I have a pair of bamboo blinds I’d like to get fixed.
The problem is the edge most thread moving and coming off. I'm thinking maybe this thread stays in place with a touch of latex glue and the edge could be rethreaded like that.
Or maybe to not have thread near the edge but a piece of brown tape folded over.
See pics which show how they should be and how they have slipped
Anyone know a shop pref south of CM Ban TAWai area would be fine.

Thanks Mike
presumably if I install Google wont be storing the images on my laptop but in a google server and bringing them up as needed? Wondering how many gb it may stop on my Air even temporarily?

This just came up on my Air.
The built in storage is near full.
I have a card in the side which is not near full.
Should I change to the apps folder or ignore?
Thanks

Thanks to all
yeah the web address is a good clue.
The page came up again last night I cleared history again this time for the whole day.

close tab....go to history tab....click 'clear history' (removes all cookies).
Instal Adguard
Done and installed Adguard.
Strangely the same tab popped up when i started trying here.
I just closed it for now.
Will keep my eyes open
While we're at it I asked for a quote from Regency Healthcare recently and have had ads from them constantly including when i open anything in youtube.
Can I get rid of individual pests like this.
-
Got this up.
Presume it's fake
(I don't think Apple would try to panic me with a countdown, and instead of "pre" in the bottom left they've written "per"
However they have working links)
I just closed the tab.
Is that enough?

Sent from my iPad using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app -
That could be a useful tool.....think they’re Called a Lancelot.....but too aggressive for this job

At my Samsung you can select at contacts "Contacts to display" in the upper left area where the contacts are shown. There you can select from which source contacts should be shown. If you don't have it there look in the menu at contacts for such a setting.
Afraid I can’t find anything that looks worthwhile.
Will try the contacts optimizer from Salerno

Custom insoles in CM?
in Chiang Mai
Posted
Update:
It turned out my wife who works in the ram hospital has a friend who works in a foot doctors clinic.
I went there for a discussion and we decided A custom insole
might help.
So they took a print of each foot of each foot and a couple of weeks later now I have used the insoles a couple of times. They only fit in my sports shoes but this is where they will see the Most action and where the toes are most uncomfortable, hiking or slow jogging uphill.
Dr. Tanawat showed me how subtle differences in the heights of the sides of the insole combined with the raised arch to fit my foot plus a little rays section in the middle of the ball could make quite a difference.
I’m pleased to say that while not a miracle they have indeed Increase by comfort increased my comfort level.
I’m pleased I got them.
They cost 3000 baht but hey feet are very important
We also talked about toe splints to Help straighten the hammer toes. He suggested I was simply order from Amazon and showed me some samples there. I will be able to wear these in my other shoes or presumably in bed.
Tracy this might be useful information for you let me know you saw it, if but if notI will send you a message. Look up Dr. TANAWAT in Chiang Mai and you’ll find details. Any problem I’ll look them up and send you.
