There is no such thing as activation. There is a visa issue date (the date Consulate issued) and the expiration date (date before all entries must have been made). It appears your visa expires in 4 days so you can make an entry using it now for your six weeks but it will not be valid for any other use later.

Ah man thats crap Not like the ozzy visa so looking at it now it was issued on the 26th Jan 2011, and it says must be used or utilised before 25th July 2011, I cant make out the print clearly. But 26 Jan to 25 July is 180 days so my 60s had to be made within this time? ah if had of known that I wouldnt have bother applying......Its never simple!

An O-A visa can be single or multi entry. Only a multi entry allows travel and/or return for a new one year permitted to stay.

Never seen a single O-A issued, obviously excluding the 2nd 12 months

An O-A Visa comes with Multiple Entry Permit for the 1st 12 months from issue, therefore you can travel in & out as many times as required until 1 day before it's 1st birthday as to speak. Re enter Thailand 1 day before it's expiry & you will automatically get permission to stay for another 365 days. If you then decide to travel in & out of Thailand then you will be required to purchase a re-entry permit to keep Visa alive

@Terak I applied for it in Ireland, before I knew the were free in Hull Just been so busy with other stuff travel plans are a bit messed up, but I did find a cheap flight today so was thinking of just going and using it.

Don'y worry yourself - they were supposedly free worldwide until end of March 2011 - if you only applied recently you would still of had to pay @ Hull

Get you - you can use any of the remaining Visa's before the 'enter before date' which will be printed or written on the visa. If you enter on or after that date your visa will be invalid - Where did you get triple entry from ??

At first I wondered how I was going to change the shape and size of my face - but then realised it will depend on how close or distant you sit from the camera.

about 1.5 km's from the Northern Bangkok Bus Terminal - excellent bus's - I take 1st class to and from Khon Kaen - 510 baht - business class seats

South of Chalong Circle - saw some cheap adverts for that area, but it did say FROM............

Cannot get 4 months Visa - you probably got TR60 which is 60 days, (plus 10 days overstay) then extra 30 days with extension - you do not have to leave country for extra 30 days

Never seen a website, but if you entered on a TR visa it will tell you in passport when you have to leave, but make sure your TR has not expired by that date (enter before date) and you can extend @ immigration for another 30 days

Agreed, a letter from a recognised school stating your voluntary status may be best bet. Phone Hull or Birmingham first to make sure as rules changing all the time at moment

Rawai to Phuket 1380 km's last month - loaded pick up & stopped overnight in Hau Hin, got 1 speeding ticket, 400 baht, but reduced to 200 when gf accepted the fine from passenger seat !!! Drove 7-8 hours both days

Hua Hin to Khon Kaen only a dozen times, less than 6 hours, except for one time when it was flooded

I was not looking to beat any speed records as had truck full of household goods, motorbike and the holiest of holiest, the TV !!! was in no rush, but Hau Hin to Khon Kaen in under 6 hours I would not consider safe in Thailand

Correct - get yourself to local immigration, pay overstay & extend by 30 more days (1900 baht) & do not do it again !!! easy

ps - your overstay will increase by 500 baht a day

I think what the OP is trying to say is "try and identify which part of the country you need the info for" - as we all know different regions interpret the rules in their own way

This is much the same in the Visa section when people ask information on a certain item - you cannot give accurate answer as the regional variations vary.

I think it is a good idea to identify the area you want the info for but..................................................... will not happen
