Ireland is very green - truly an Emerald Isle.

You may report me. 'Rhyming slang' is no excuse for "Septic" even if it rhymes. Even if it's ryming sland. There might be a rhyming slang for "Ni**er" but it's still received as an insult by blacks. Speaking of looking in the mirror...So when the Brits call US citizens "Septics" I call them Shitish.Sorry but you are way out. There is noting rude or derogatory about using the ryming sland term "septics" Where are the moderators. I do take offence the your name calling though that is most certainly rude and offensive.
Advice though plainly obvious to anyone reading would be to look in the mirror

The OP was a troll. Plenty of non-PC posts are allowed on TV (strictly speaking). Many more are not, because it hasn't been polite or civil for decades to insult entire religions, races, nationalities, genders, etc. So when the Brits call US citizens "Septics" I call them Shitish.I don't get this post at all.. Surely the expat community in Thailand must be among the most politically INcorrect you could ever hope to find anywhere?Or is this post taking issue with efforts to sanitize a commercial forum? That's just common business sense and has little to do with political correctness.
And, in case you hadn't noticed, there are some restrictions on free speech in Thailand, but not sure if that was what you were hinting at either.
So in short, is there anyone who can make some sense out of this topic?

My bifocals work fine and I have a large screen, but I use Firefox and run really oversize,

I ride on pavement/tarmac, but Chiang Mai is very dusty in Feb-April. I went through a chain about every 20,000 to 25,000 km on my first CBR150. This one now has 14K and looks like it'll last over 20K.

Niyom Panich on Mahidol, Sasa Panich north on Chotana by Rama 9 park are both excellent, but not near Santitam.

We lived for weeks in Mayan villages that were so remote - no phones, electricity - running water only in cold streams. No fotos allowed until they believed you'd sacrifice your life with them. Lots of roosters, and women making fresh tortillas at 5 AM.

The rule about netiquette is fair. But the entire opening post and some of his replies are atrocious. Spellinggrammarrunonsentencespuctuationnoparagraphs...I'll get my coat.....

Since the OP raised the point in this thread: Nothing lasts forever, even the 2002-2010 Honda CBR150R. The unanswered question is what Honda will market for 2011-2020. A CBR200 FI?

You have one tiny leverage - if you quit, your work permit doesn't expire. Use that leverage. Run away.

I'm not sure what the point is here. Posting to stir the pot?

This quaint style of obtuse, abstruse ambiguity may be unique to our British cousins. The inviter found me several days later and was surprised that a fellow teacher of English thought that 7/8 km was 7/8ths km. I told the CELTA instructor I had twice taught classes of future teachers of standard international English, how to give clear instructions. I suspect that many teachers of Shitish are incapable of teaching standard English, and remain unaware of their mis-educated ignorance.By a coincidence, a reference to 7/8 from a fellow Brit came up today. His company's holding a Christmas party tonight with some live music and I texted him to ask "what time is the first band playing?".
"7/8" was his SMS reply. This I took to mean the first band were scheduled to go on stage between 7 and 8 pm.
In the light of Peace Blondie's question though, it did cross my mind though to double-check my friend was not referring to the time signature the music would be playing in so that I could dress accordingly

His mother's mixed, luk-krung, farang, etc. It it matters. Does it matter?

Lots of us older and taller guys on CBR150's; not really such a racer. Up to you; I almost never ride our Phantom.

Pardon my error. "This makes Woods himself one-quarter Chinese, one-quarter Thai, one-quarter African American, one-eighth Native American, and one-eighth Dutch." If it matters.

I did something like that once - resigned with notice, fell off bike, spent final days in hosp. etc, before leaving town. They never asked for the marks. Never.

So...if Thai-ger Woods is at least 37% Thai, if he'd grown up in Thailand with his Thai mother, he would still be a virgin, or a faithful Thai husband?

Hi; welcome. I moved from Chiang Mai to Hua Hin once. Please read through the posts here.

It's not always an age thing. Some 17 year olds are curmudgeons. Today I met another over-60 active blonde with a ponytail. And I stayed in US$3/night tourist lodgings at age 58 when my kid lived in a cave, in Mexico.

17k wasted. sorry. I gave up on used big bikes in CMai in 2003 as a tourist. To quote Jonathan Winters, "Martha, don't touch it - you don't know where it's been!"

I taught briefly at a business 'college' up north in 2005 - not a uni. At least one of my ladyboys wore the female uniform; s/he was pre-op. Boys used women's toilets. Your mileage will vary very much.

Too much. CLOSED.

no personal insults. Nearly ready to close this.
