The last time i used Wise was May 2023! I didn’t get a email . I was curious so I went on the app to look for a PHOTO ID notification after reading the thread , I only got a notice to set a 2fa password word . So far no request for a Photo ID.

Using Wise and sending from the states via ACH . In the past I would transfer money from the USA , using ach Bank of America to a Usa Wise affiliate ,Evolve Bank back to Wise , then to BANGKOK Bank. Wise notified me that there was a data breech through Evolve their partner bank! Today july 30 i got a email from EVOLVE ! Saying the issue occurred from FEBRUARY - May 2024! I haven’t used Wise since 2023 ! I have included a pic of the notification . Anybody get a similar email! Your thoughts much appreciated .

I set up a brokerage & checking account in the States back in 2019 I use the atm 3 x per month to get my living expenses! On the rare occasion that I needed big money 4000.00+ i used Wise. They allow for a a SYMANTEC VIP app for 2fa , which is a very nice feature imop. The only drawback is waiting for the funds to clear after sending money to the account ( 4 days). I love that no fees atm card & Charles Schwab.

Agree ! This is the second time its happen to my Barclays credit card , each time, different account numbers. Last time was 1 year ago at a phone shop , they had to swipe the magnetic strip. Within a day i had four different inquiries on my card !

The credit card rep canceled the card and will issue a new one ! I won’t have to be responsible for the transaction if they determine its fraud. They will investigate the matter,it can take up to several billing cycles to resolve. She did say to avoid establishments using machines that use the magnetic strip swiping your card through along side the machine!

I noticed a suspicious charge by Google Play for $25 on my Barclays US credit Card on 7/25/24 I reported it the minute it was alerted to me . Today during usa business hours i will file a dispute! Note: No one has access to my card! The transaction happened online! Im in Thailand and I’ve used my card at Lotus, Robinson, Big C, Global House , Thai Watzadu , Fa Prong Restaurant , Princ Hospital My only online purchase was a donation to a secure fund raising group! I know the card company will cover the charge and I have locked the card on my app. More than likely Im gonna have to cancel my card and request to have a new one sent to me, at my USA residence .
