I think Bill is having so much fun with his podcast that he's become bored with his show. As someone who has been watching Real Time for a while I find his usual tropes to be boring. When he mentions things like pot and Covid masks it's eye-roll time. Maybe being around Ann Coulter is taking an effect. Also it seems his show biz conceit is getting the better of him. He might be the only person who has Piers Morgan on his show voluntarily.

One of them was wearing some very shear, non-opaque cloth. All I could think of was "get this nearly naked kid away from my house!" I was so shaken I dropped the candy bucket. After they were gone and I calmed down I realized that was her self-made costume of the princess from the cartoon-movie Aladdin, very popular at the time. The girl was olive-skinned, so I guessed she was seeking a character who she resembled. Very creative.

I'm not comfortable reading anything regarding Herschel or Truss. I'm not saying this to be cruel, but I see both of them as not-very-bright people who are/were being played as pawns by more cynical sorts (especially Herschel, Truss entered politics on her own). The joke is on them, and the farce plays out in front of the world. Not everyone is cut out to be a PM or a senator, no shame in that.
