He couldn't get past 'tic tac' https://www.c-span.org/clip/campaign-2024/donald-trump-uses-tictacs-to-demonstrate-inflation/5128283
  2. Probably from New Jersey. Can't take them gals anywhere . . .
  3. She was miffed because "war machine" is her pet name for her, err, pleasuring device.

    2D foosball more like it.
  5. Headline sounds like a tag line for a goofy comedy: A drunk monk, a lady, and a gun
  6. If Uncle Sam gets wind of this they just might be facing international counterfeiting charges. "Haha! Only joking you know."
  7. That could also help limit the number of body bags needed to 3,000. Which of his kids are going to enlist in the US Armed Forces?
  8. I hope no one reading that takes it seriously; I can't think of one place in the world where I would take that to be true. But that's ok -- accidentally careless is one thing, hoping for the best when you realize what you did, but leaving the stuff out with an arrogant "it's ok, no will take it because I say so" would be pretty damned stupid. Any more advice?
  9. A non-AC place will be open to the street. And the rest of the world. Glass-enclosed appears remote and private. It certain Latin American countries the bars have blacked-out windows and a blackout curtain covers the door so the good people outside will not be able to see the sinners inside drinking that terrible stuff. Personally I avoid outside places, but if I must it'll have to be well away from the sidewalk. In Brazil, some people passing might ask for some of what you're eating.
  10. Hint: it rhymes with the (derogatory) Spanish word for bargirl.
  11. Strictly IMO this is sabre rattling. Neither country wants it to happen. But then the phone rings in DC and Putin has new instructions for those on the US side doing his bidding.
  12. This is going back more than 20 years, there was a lad at BBC who challenged Bush's "axis of evil" jingo by visiting each place and proving him wrong -- self-righteous do-gooder he was. Went particularly bad in Iran where (can you guess?) they were arrested for being spies. Kudos to BBC for airing that one.
  13. I like blackguard but I won't use it when speaking because people think I'm saying black heart. I like reprobate but I don't use it.
  14. Maybe Melania will have him buried on a golf course, next to his first wife.
  15. With the price of fuel soaring no one will be able to afford to go all the way there to invade. Except for Samoans, Maori, et al with canoes and spears. On the other hand maybe the US rednecks are still peeved that Aussie singers sometimes get the country music awards. They just might dig up Olivia Newton-John's grave to shoot the corpse as a statement.
  16. Brilliant. Only the best people. Anyone remember the deck of playing cards that the W Bush guys had for Saddam's cabal? This admin would be worthy of that, but it would probably be a deck of 52 jokers.
  17. It is tried and true: tourist arrives in Iran, visas in order etc. Within a few days they are arrested for espionage. As predictable as tourists visiting the US and within a few days they are eating American junk food. There was a US cooking show personality (infamous for his temper tantrums) who went to do an episode there and on their first day of filming the Revolutionary Guard accosted them on the street to lock them up. The host didn't take it well, and it appeared he managed to scare them off (no doubt some important phone calls were made). It was the late Anthony Bourdain.
  18. Losers hate people who are everything that themselves are not. I've encountered a few in my time. IMO Mueller held back because he didn't want to face the ire of the free-reign president (it's an easy bet the next time a Dem president wins the WH that SCOTUS bs about not indicting a president will vanish moments after he takes his hand off the Bible at the oath). Barr covered for DT, but all the same he is on 47's shirtlist. Can we now please begin the investigation of Putin 's relationship with DT prior to, and since, the 2016 election? If they threaten Barr with contempt he'll poo his pants like he did during his time as AG. https://www.foxnews.com/video/6391391167112 Hey, this was aired on Fox! That will qualify it as gospel truth to some in this forum.
  19. And maybe now there will be consideration to reopen russiarussiarussia, as the boss calls it. Someday there will be an unredacted version of his report. Pretty low, insulting the guy while the corpse is still warm. Classy, eh?
  20. When the post-9/11 wars were starting someone on F*x said Afghanistan would be the new Vietnam, to which Ann Coulter snapped: "No, Vietnam is a tropical jungle, Afghanistan is a desert." There's no containing brilliance.
  21. Story of my life: I'll try something to help me sleep for the first time, and it works. Try it again a week later, and then on, no go. This has been pharmaceuticals as well as herbs. I'm over 70, I first noticed this when I was in my 20s. I wouldn't think of taking more pills, heard too many death by sleeping pill overdose stories. I once took an, err, recreational drug that took more than 24 hours to hit -- does this happen to everybody?
  22. Gold coin or crypto-coin, take your pick! One of his cabal should say to him "do you realize what a guy would pay for Melania's dirty knickers?"
  23. There should be a provision in the deal that in the image he wears a jester's cap.
