  1. 1. He wants to travel 2. Please, no conspiracy theories. The op made a simple request.
  2. Free Pfizer in Pattaya Hospital Soi Buakhao 8-12 Fridays for everyone. No big queue. In out in 30 minutes. Walk in. Also at Banglamung Public hospital but I don't have details. Also can pay 800 for Moderna at Jomtien Hospital no queue walk in. Not sure about 2nd jab, how long to wait etc.
  3. You've written Khun Thai and Khun cheen, not Khon Thai and Khon cheen.
  4. ประเทศจีน and คนจีน, pronounced pratet cheen/Jeen and khon cheen/ Jeen, are Thai for China and chinese person/people. The pronunciation of จ varies between j and ch. The ี is the long vowel ee.
  5. 2 Aeroflot flights a day from Moscow SVO to Phuket. From 60k to 231k roubles. If they fly multi class, the capacity will be lower. But "Please note that, for reasons beyond the control of Aeroflot PJSC, we no longer accept VISA, MASTERCARD or JCB cards issued by banks outside the Russian Federation." About $1000, £880 one way, 9 hour flight.
  6. Like Myanmar you mean? Chai yo!
  7. Seats available on all flights it seems on Aeroflot website, but Skyscanner reports no flights. 84,000 to 104,000 roubles one way on the early flight tomorrow. $1500 near enough, one way, for a 9 hour flight. Russian inflation raging? They have cheap gas too.
  8. Maybe they're getting around it by buying some aircraft, at least. https://money.usnews.com/investing/news/articles/2022-05-13/aeroflot-buys-eight-airbus-aircraft-from-foreign-leasing-firms But there's $10 billion worth of planes seized by Russia. These arrivals should be seized!
  9. Aeroflot? SU274 and SU278?
  10. Yes, I read about the one class capacity. But Flight radar only reports Aeroflot flights. Maybe it's a codeshare?
  11. I've asked Phuket Express editorial board for sources for this story. As I point out above, there are no matching flights listed on Flight Radar for the date, 30th October, Moscow to Phuket, for those airlines. Carrying 449 passengers? Normally only an a380 or a350 has the capacity. And what does the photo tell us? Absolutely nothing. I wouldn't know if that was even a photo of Phuket airport. Any articles I see now about arrivals in Thailand I'm going to challenge.
  12. Not according to the unverifiable photograph the Phuket Express posted, it seems.
  13. I think there's a multitude of possible answers to these questions. They might have Thai bank accounts. They might have foreign currency accounts. They might have accounts with overseas banks that have branches accessible in Thailand. They might have crypto accounts accessible by card. They might have brought cash in roubles assuming, or knowing, somebody will accept them. And I think it's down to the card issuer how and where it can be used, and what currencies.
  14. The original article says 449 passengers. Flight radar gives only 2 flights from Moscow to Phuket on 30th, both Aeroflot, both on Boeing 777-300er. Their max capacity is given as 386 but I suppose there are variations. Cram class I guess.
  15. Couldnt find any flights to Phuket on Nordwind's or IKAR/Pegas website. Precious few outside Russia. Some Stans, Iran or Cuba, that seems to be it. Maybe it was a charter. https://airbook.nordwindairlines.ru/online/search#/search
  16. Block Fox News. If you think RT is biased, oh boy!
  17. As was Adolf Hitler in Germany. "At last, a man who says what we all feel".
  18. No never. You would phrase it as Khun <name of the addressee>, unless the addressee's name was "Thai". Is this a wind up? No wait, don't answer that...
  19. It would be if there was such a name in Thai.
  20. I've already covered this. Yes, if you're addressing somebody called Jeen!
  21. There are two arguments raging here. One, over the difference between Khun and Khon. And two, who or what the heck is a Farang? I've given my side of the argument re Khun and Khon. My solution to the Farang argument is to rename ourselves Farengi. Then we all know where we stand.
