  1. Plenty of time to talk about Trump but no time to discuss Hillary's email issue.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

Obama snaps over Clinton emails: 'I'm not taking another question'
    By SUSAN CRABTREE (@SUSANCRABTREE) • 5/26/16 7:57 AM
President Obama snapped at a reporter during a Thursday press conference in Japan after being asked about Hillary Clinton's use of a private email system at the State Department, an act that the department's inspector general said violated the rules.
Obama had just offered to answer one additional question from reporters, but then bristled when the question was about Clinton's emails.
"You know I take it back – I'm not taking another question," he said. <<snip>>
  2. A Trump Presidency will see America totally isolated from the World. It is pretty clear few countries will align themselves with his Presidency. China and Russia will fill the vacuum. There will be little to no support for anything Trump attempts to coordinate. He is seen as a dangerous fool Globally. When even fellow dictator Dear Leader Un gives him the finger it gives you a pretty good indication of how low Trump is regarded on the World stage.

You can relax. I'm sure the US Military will still protect you Aussies from those big, bad Chinese.

After all, we've been doing it since 1942.

  3. Bernie should let the democrats know that if he does not get the nomination he will run as a third party, perhaps Green Party. This election it is possible for an independent like Bernie to win the majority of the vote with three running but almost not possible to get the 50 percent plus one that is required. Hillary is out anyway and the House I think would give it to Bernie if he got the most votes.

Presidential elections in the US don't work that way. Look up "US Electoral College" and read up.

what I said above is exactly correct. In order to become president from the general election one must have 270 electoral votes. If that number is not met then the House will select the president.

"what I said above is exactly correct."

    Well, not exactly.

Had you bothered to mention the 270 electoral votes required, then you would have been correct.

You indicated the popular vote, which is incorrect. Now you have it right.

  4. One arrest? Sure the Trump rally didn't coincide with the Ladies choir night out?

    foolish post.

One only needs to watch the news videos.

The police could of arrested at least half of them....but that is what the dummies wanted.

What they are trying to achieve is a violent, reaction from Trump Security and the Police.

    Never happened..never will.

Ask yourself why.... possibly because anyone with a brain has them figured out.

Push the suckers down the road....kiddies. Your childish aggression against the inevitable Trump Machine just backfired on your dumb rear ends.

Or could be just average citizens protesting against Trump's hate speech. I've actually seen rowdier Hen's Nights than that minor skirmish. Hardly a riot. As usual Right Wingers blowing things out of proportion. Next you will be accusing the protesters of burning orphanages down.

You seem to be getting a little carried away slippery.

Thanks to OMG inPattaya from post #10, the following shows what Trump supporters AND THEIR CHILDREN had to pass through just to reach the event in Albuquerque..

The obscenities, threats and screams of the deranged are not typical Hen's Night I have ever heard of.

Every liberal that has a family and children should be forced to watch how their strident base acts. It might make a socialist Aussie proud, but not most Americans.

  5. I love it smile.png Even on a non-important forum like this, Trump is showing people what these looney left Liberals are really like.

That anyone can think they are justified/right in supporting the rioters, or in saying that it is Trump's fault, shows everyone with common sense what some of those against Trump are really like (and why). And the more this happens, the more sane and rational people are getting on the Trump Train. clap2.gif

I think it is important that the non-Americans here (and clueless, yet well-meaning American liberals) realize that 100% of all violent demonstrations on American streets are carried out by supporters of the Democrats/Leftists/Socialists. 100%.

They lie about being provoked when they are the ones out there provoking, disrupting, vandalizing, looting and attacking others.

    Occupy Wall Street? Leftists.

    Black Lives Matters? Leftists.

    Anti-Trump protesters? Leftists.

"Anti-War" protesters (who oddly stopped caring about war as soon as a Democrat became president)? Leftists.

When you see someone in the street wearing a mask and throwing a Molotov cocktail it is someone who will never vote for a Republican/conservative/right wing candidate.

When you see someone looting during a "protest" it is someone who will never vote for a Republican/conservative/right wing candidate.

When you see someone attacking the police it is someone who will never vote for a Republican/conservative/right wing candidate.

And these leftists have the nerve to claim that it is the right wing who will destroy the country.

They are all connected to moveon.org and other George Soros foundations and Hillary and Bernie are both in bed with all of them.

The riots in Albuquerque were, in part, sponsored by a group calling itself The Party for Socialism and Liberation, an offshoot from the Communist Party of America.

Here's one of their flyers for the riots.

  6. Get rid of those who have lived predominately on taxpayer money, doing little, accomplishing less while being paid and given benifets far greater than they are entitled to.

How about getting not voting for the player(s) who have lived off their daddy's money plus large loans from banks, which they may or may not pay back?

As for those who get paid by taxpayer money ......I think we agree largely on that. Roughly 82% of taxpayer money is mis-spent, and a lot of that is on salaries of people who either do little, or do wrong. We can start with the War on Drugs. And then go to the bail-outs for too-big-to-fail corporations. Then to military spending, at least half of which is wasted. The amount of wasted taxpayer money in the US is phenomenal. It's a bottomless pit.

How about not voting for the player/s who have lived off the taxpayers?

The Democrats have two of them running in this election and you're reserving all your anger for the only candidate of the three that has ever held down a real job.

If you call elected politicians "people who live off of taxpayers" ok, in a sense that's on the mark. Yet is what you're saying is;; all politicians should be gotten rid of? Trump is running to be top politician. You don't want a president?

Without politicians running a country, what have you got? Royalty, like Saudi Arabia. Or one family, like N.Korea, or non-elected military like Thailand.

Even those mentioned are paid by government coffers. Are you saying we should have government run by independently wealthy people who get no monetary reward? Maybe you'd like someone like Pol Pot being in charge. Either way, it makes it clearer why you like the idea of Trump as top banana. BTW, if he wins, he will draw his salary as will all his staff, cabinet, S.Court justices, Republican Party do-nothings in congress, and the plethora of gov't paid do-nothings everywhere. Are you suggesting Trump should fire everyone getting taxpayer money, to show he's not beholden to government? Would you like the tel# of a psychiatrist, ....or perhaps a witch doctor?

"Would you like the tel# of a psychiatrist, ....or perhaps a witch doctor?"

No thanks, I don't need a psychiatrist. However I recently read an article that some doctor in Mogadishu can reverse lobotomies. I'll PM you the link if I can find it.

Now I will respond to all your hysteria with this simple question.

Have you ever heard the two words "Term Limits" used in a sentence?

  7. San Diego Pledges 100% Renewable Energy. San Diego, the US's 8th largest city, is set to become the first large city in the United States to run on 100 per cent renewable energy after the mayor Kevin Faulconer (Dem, of course) announced his support for a 2035 target.

The city is embracing clean energy including solar and wind power and is also aiming to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 80 per cent by 2050.

Reps have made it clear they have no plans to cut greenhouse gases anywhere, because they think GW is a big hoax. That's why Big Oil leans to the Reps.

And it's a big NO from me on nuclear. I'd rather have coal being burned than nuclear.

LOL. Now how is that going to be done? Donald is not in Office Yet ! Go Figure it out. He can't pass any Bills until he is elected to Office. duhh

Hillary did what she did in Office. Only problem, her criminal activities and negligence far outweigh any bills introduced. If you want to play "what if".....or "Compare the two Candidates" you are talking apples and oranges (Orange as in Donald, Apple as in Rotten Hillary Apple). Nobody can say, for sure, what will go down when Don gets elected. One thing we do know right now is...Don is not a Criminal....Crooked Hillary may well be a Criminal, when the FBI gets done with her.

There are many folks who do things to benefit others without having to be an elected politician in office. Donald has never done anything in his 69 years to assist anyone but himself. If you have any examples to the contrary, let us know.

I've known people with barely any money who started do-good groups, do-good organizations, organized park clean-ups, volunteered to help elders at hospitals, etc. I haven't done much, but when I had a band in Washington D.C., we played for free at hospitals and prisons and parks. In Thailand, I created a park for picnics and kids to play, with bathrooms, parking area. I sometimes walk in the park (and the streets nearby), picking up trash that Thais throw out.

What sort of public service has The Divider ever done? He avoided the draft 5 times claiming he had a crippled foot, but when asked, he can't recall which foot it was. While his buddies were patrolling the jungles of Vietnam, The Donald was living the high life all night, every night in NYC nightclubs, spending the $2.5 million his daddy gave him for graduating from High School.

HRC was doing public service before she was elected Senator for NY twice. As First Lady, she worked hard to get a preliminary draft for a comprehensive health bill which would be affordable to non-well-off Americans, but Republicans shot it down every which way they could. At the least, she gained experience and inside info re; the situation in the US re; hospitals, Big Pharma, etc. The sorts of things that Donald has scant knowledge of.

" As First Lady, she worked hard to get a preliminary draft for a comprehensive health bill which would be affordable to non-well-off Americans, but Republicans shot it down every which way they could."

The Republicans had lots of help shooting her health care plan down. Clinton had Democrat control of both Houses of Congress for the first two years of his administration. Try not to let any facts get in the way of a good old fashioned partisan post.

    From Wikipedia:

"Instead of uniting behind the original proposal, many Democrats offered a number of competing plans of their own. Hillary Clinton was drafted by the Clinton Administration to head a new Task Force and sell the plan to the American people, which ultimately backfired amid the barrage of fire from the pharmaceutical and health insurance industries and considerably diminished her own popularity. On September 26, 1994, the final compromise Democratic bill was declared dead by Senate Majority Leader George J. Mitchell.[3]"

  8. I'll admit that sounds crazy ... but rather unrelated to the bathroom bigot laws. Nice deflection try though. thumbsup.gif

    No deflection at all.

    Quote from the linked article:

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

"Some teachers were even worse, Soell said. She claimed one teacher screamed at her in the hallway that her gender choice was offensive to God, and she said teachers conspired to use the school’s only gender-neutral bathroom so Soell would have to wait a half-hour or more to use it."

  9. Get rid of those who have lived predominately on taxpayer money, doing little, accomplishing less while being paid and given benifets far greater than they are entitled to.

  10. Admittedly the raving maniac in the YouTube video is out of control, but the LGBT community must realize stories like the following really do their cause more harm than good.

When an Oregon school district settles a potential law suit for $60,000 because a gender neutral wants to be called "they" rather than "he" or "she" seems somewhat over the top. IMHO.

Transgender Teacher Gets $60k After Co-Workers Won’t Call Her ‘They’
    BLAKE NEFF
    Reporter
    8:58 PM 05/23/2016
A “transmasculine” teacher at an Oregon elementary school has been awarded $60,000 by her school district as compensation for harassment she claims to have suffered on the job, including being referred to by the wrong pronoun.
According to The Oregonian, Leo Soell was born a woman, but now prefers to identify as “transmasculine” and “genderqueer,” meaning she does not consider herself to be male or female. After getting breast cancer in late 2014, she had her breasts amputated to create a more masculine appearance and changed her name to Leo. Once she returned from medical school in May, 2015, Soell was fully public with her gender-neutral identity.
  11. "She has made it clear she only cares about rich people that give the Clinton Foundation a lot of money....."

She recently sponsored a bill in Congress, which got passed, which allocated $30 billion to shore up pension funds for coal companies which had gone out of business. If you hadn't noticed, a lot of coal companies are folding because the US is turning to clean renewables, and away from dirty coal.

Years before that, HRC sponsored a well-funded program to give added assistance for 'first responders' to 9-11 in NYC (it may also have applied to rescue workers at the Pentagon, I don't know). She was lauded by NYC's Firefighters for her help.

In those and other do-good legislation, she doesn't expect anything in return.

What has The Donald done for coal miners or emergency workers? What has The Divider ever done to help anyone, other than himself and his image/name recognition? Those are real questions. Answer them if you can.

"She recently sponsored a bill in Congress, which got passed, which allocated $30 billion to shore up pension funds for coal companies which had gone out of business. If you hadn't noticed, a lot of coal companies are folding because the US is turning to clean renewables, and away from dirty coal.

I simply cannot let you continue posting this nonsense.

Hillary has not been able to sponsor any legislation since January 2009. She has now been out of the Senate over seven years.

As to what she has actually sponsored.

She has been the primary sponsor on only three pieces of legislation that were enacted. She has very likely co-sponsored many of them but...so what? She didn't write them, nor is her name on them as the primary sponsor.

Here are the three which she sponsored:

    1. S.3145, designated a portion of U.S. Route 20A, located in Orchard Park, N.Y., as the “Timothy J. Russert Highway,” after the former “Meet the Press” host.
    2. S. 3613, renamed the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 2951 New York Highway 43 in Averill Park, New York, as the “Major George Quamo Post Office Building.”
    3. S. 1241 made the brick house of 19th century female union leader Kate Mullany a national historic site.
I doubt you will find many folks in West Virginia that consider her the darling of the coal industry. Here's one reason why...
  12. What a coincidence. Donald Trump accounces that he just gave 1 million dollars to a veteran's group. Obviously, this had nothing to do with the press calling on him to account for it.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/05/24/four-months-later-donald-trump-says-he-gave-1-million-to-veterans-group/

So what? How much have the Clinton's donated to veteran's groups?

It took Trump 20 months less to give his million than it took Hillary to find the lost Rose Law Firm billing records...and they were in her book room?

  13. The innovation pride of America and the world and the singular reason America retains its competitive technology position in the world, Silicon Valley is especially united against Trump. I keep trying to look for something smart or something I like in this guy and I can't find it. The world's best and brightest can't either....

The innovation economy has a serious distaste for Donald Trump. The masters of this world complain that his ignorance about their work and its relationship to the global economy is horrifying. Rank-and-file programmers are quick to call him a clown, or worse. The unity is notable in an environment where groupthink is frowned upon and nobody ever seems to color inside ideological lines.

    http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-trump-silicon-valley-20160524-snap-htmlstory.html

Yes, and that's particularly important when you consider the Silicon Valley elites have never been particularly ideological loyalists to liberal politics or democrats. Unlike the Hollywood crowd. They're pragmatic. They correctly see what trump really is.

You're exactly right. I know many, many people in the valley of all levels. Most of them are highly agnostic in politics, but for sure there is arguably more brain power in the South Bay than anywhere else on earth, and they see this guy clearly for exactly what he is.

How about Google? Do you honestly believe they are not a political company caught up in the Obama mystique and dead bent on stopping the Trump train from reaching the station, running over Hillary in the process?

Of course Silicon Valley is in the tank for Hillary. They are in the tank for Obama and will keep up the Democrat party affiliation when/if Hillary wins.

All that brain power and they don't see Trump for what he is. They fear him for what he might become...the next President.

And all that lobbying and money spent during the last eight years will be for naught.

Google's extraordinary access to Obama revealed as White House visitor logs show 427 meetings between company and administration officials
Top lobbyist visited the White House 128 times, visitor logs show – more than any other lobbyist

When top White House officials want to know what Google executives are thinking, they don't need to go near a computer – since company officials have been hovering at the White House about once a week through the course of the Obama administration, White House logs reveal.
The tech giant's top lobbyist, Johanna Shelton, has visited the White House a total of 128 times since President Obama got elected in 2009.
Shelton visited the White House more than any top 50 lobbying firm, according to White House visitor logs analyzed by a nonprofit called the Google Transparency Project that is critical of the company's influence.
  14. up2u2, damn, you beat me to it...lol. The lies about being unable to fund Bernie's New Deal programs have been throughly debunked. Then again, the right wingnuts can't/won't accept or recognize the truth. Their minds are stuck back in the scumbag McCarthy era and cold war propaganda. Like Peter Pan, never to grow, mentally.

Then perhaps you can debunk what the Tax Foundation claims, based on Bernie's published tax plan.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------

Senator Sanders (I-VT) would enact a number of policies that would raise payroll taxes and individual income taxes, especially on high-income households.
Senator Sanders’s plan would raise tax revenue by $13.6 trillion over the next decade on a static basis. However, the plan would end up collecting $9.8 trillion over the next decade when accounting for decreased economic output in the long run.
A majority of the revenue raised by the Sanders plan would come from a new 6.2 percent employer-side payroll tax, a new 2.2 percent broad-based income tax, and the elimination of tax expenditures relating to healthcare.
According to the Tax Foundation’s Taxes and Growth Model, the plan would significantly increase marginal tax rates and the cost of capital, which would lead to 9.5 percent lower GDP over the long term.
On a static basis, the plan would lead to 10.56 percent lower after-tax income for all taxpayers and 17.91 percent lower after-tax income for the top 1 percent. When accounting for reduced GDP, after-tax incomes of all taxpayers would fall by at least 12.84 percent.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------
    I await your detailed rebuttal.
  15. Here is a little food for thought to those that might be burdened with paying for Bernie's give away programs.

How many times does publicly funded tuition fees (not free) have to be explained to you chuckd? Just interested to know if you will ever get your head around the concept within your lifetime?

I'll consider that as soon as you realize my post was made over four months ago.

I know enough about his plans to know they would never work even if Congress was dumb enough to try and pass them.

The Tax Foundation saying his socialist plans will raise taxes over the next decade by an estimated $13.6 Trillion makes that little cartoon spot on for those perceptive enough to understand the federal government is a massive Cost Center.

    They have no Profit Center

Refresh my memory again...you are Australian, right?

You won't be subject to US taxes and any children and grandchildren will be debt free and not subject to those nasty taxes

And that, dear readers, is why up2u2 is such a Bernie fan...it won't personally cost him one penny.

    Socialism at its finest.

    http://taxfoundation.org/article/details-and-analysis-senator-bernie-sanders-s-tax-plan

Your failing Chuck, is that you fail to see that Bernie's inability to accomplish very much is his greatest strength. He'll never get his "free college for all". But what if he were able to limit the influence of money on politics? Surely you'd agree that's a good thing.

I don't know your finances Chuck, but I'd be willing to bet, that I pay more US income taxes than you. I don't mind paying those taxes, so long as I think it is for the betterment of the society. My opinion is Chuck, that there shouldn't be even a dime paid for Medicare, so long as there isn't Universal Healthcare for everyone else. If you're not taking care of everybody you shouldn't be taking care of anybody. The old people are stealing from the young, and that's just not right.

What if the only thing a Sander's presidency were able to accomplish was campaign finance reform? Or a dialogue about Universal Healthcare? Or the exposition of the billions upon billions of dollars in corporate welfare. That would be something wouldn't it?

According to Bernie, he has conned some 8,000,000 people into donating $27 each to his campaign for a grand sum of $216,000,000. Maybe chicken feed to you but a rather sizable sum for most others.

I'm guessing he will get the big money out if he is elected and before he seeks reelection?

I'm quite certain you are paying more taxes than I am, but then I've been fully retired since 2008. Before that I worked from 1955 to 2008 paying FIT, FICA and all those other little bits and pieces.

Medicare? Do whatever you want to do with it. It doesn't cover anybody overseas so it does me no good and never has.

I get nothing from the US government that I don't pay cash for. Notary fee is $50 and a new passport this year will set me back $110. I draw Social Security which was paid for by my salary deductions over the life of my working career.

My son and daughter have families, having blessed me with a total of five grandchildren. Of these five grandchildren, two of them have PhD's from Florida State, one will be a Senior at Baylor and one is in his third year in Georgia. The other is still in High School. No slackers there...or Bernie supporters.

So, thank you for your contributions to our welfare through your taxes. You have fed the bureaucracy well. It just keeps getting bigger with each passing administration.

  16. Here is a little food for thought to those that might be burdened with paying for Bernie's give away programs.

  17. The links that I checked, which did actually "get out", indicated some displeasure that 3 of the 22 organizations had not received any funds.

That means 19 of the 22 did receive funds.

You liberals are down to grasping at straws.

Got anything you want to say about Hillary's $21 Million speech payments? How much of that went to veteran's organizations?

  19. Why don't stories like this get out about Trump? He claims to love vets, yet cheats them....

    http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/trump-shows-how-much-he-really-cares-about-veterans-20160523

"It's about values. It's about using veterans as a prop for his campaign, lying about how much money he raised for them, and then not fixing his lie once he was caught. It would have been easy."

Complains about Trump stories that "don't...get out" and then posts a link to a story from a well know publication about such a "story"...there's just no pleasing The Pantsuit Brigade. cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Of course I'd be rather suspicious of this particular publication too, which has been shown to just fabricate and make up "facts" and whole stories when it fits their politically correct regressive left agenda.

Wait a minute, so you're attacking the source because you think it's a leftist rag? Since you insist:

"Why don't stories like this get out about Trump?

How do you reconcile your statement quoted above from an earlier post with the six links that did "get out"?

Either your links are imaginary or your statements are.

No doubt in my mind which ones are imaginary.

  20. @JT... some of us consider Hillary just as vile as Trump.

Hillary has a proven track record of being a very destructive force in the world. Trump so far just talks a lot of crap and is pretty much a rich con man.

The Wall St /investor class, arms manufacturers, etc are just hoping Hillary will get elected. Business as usual.

How has HRC "....a proven track record of being a very destructive force in the world."

What has she done that's been very destructive? She's made some decisions she would like to re-make (such as supporting Cheney's Iraq II war based on faulty evidence). She's human. We've all made decisions we would like to go back and change, whether we're politicians or not.

Saying she's been 'very destructive' is just echoing Fox News and the Republican Attack Machine. Please list one or more things which she's done which have proven to be very destructive." Something tells me you can't.

In case you hadn't noticed, Trump has hired a Goldman Sachs exec to head his efforts to milk a billion or more dollars from very rich Wall Streeters. By doing that, he's blatantly cancelling several promises he made to his sheeple fans.

" Please list one or more things which she's done which have proven to be very destructive." Something tells me you can't."
