  2. hi there

i agree with saranagon keep your money,do not use visa services ,use forums like this one and others you will find all you need to know and everyone is hear to help ,and it will not cost you anything and you will feel so much better when you have done it all yourself.

when i was doing my wife's settlement visa i used this forum for help and advice, and we got it it felt so good doing it my self and as i said it cost me nothing for the advice.

also i would like to point out that the british embassy is not keen on people useing visa agents.

all the best pete and som

all i can say is UP TO YOU (thai saying)

PEOPLE LIKE SCOUSER (davies khan) AND GU22 WILL GIVE YOU SOUND ADVICE

  4. How to obtain your visaTo obtain your visa, you need to present a number of documents to the embassy or consulate of the country you are visiting in the Schengen area. If you plan to visit more than one country in the Schengen area, the visa will be issued by the country through which you enter the Schengen area.

The documents required when submitting your application are the following:

    Your Schengen visa form

You must use a standard document supplied by an embassy or consulate and submit the required number of copies.

    Passport

A passport, valid for at least three months longer than the requested visa

    Purpose of visit

Documents describing the purpose of your visit and the conditions of your journey.

Your means of transport (e.g. an airline ticket, a bus or train ticket, etc.

The purpose of the trip: proof of reservation of a tourist trip, or an invitation from someone you know inside Schengen

You need to prove your means of existence for the duration of your stay: requirements may differ from country to country, so please check with the embassie or consulate

Proof of lodging, e.g. a hotel reservation.

In some cases, additional information may be requested.

    Proof of insurance cover

You must have proof of adequate insurance covering repatriation and medical care for a minimum of EUR 30 000 at the moment of delivery of your visa. You can see our proposal here or take out cover immediately.

  10. London's Festival of Thai Food & Culture 2006 takes place On Sunday August 13th. This year’s event is made extra special as it coincides with the 60th Anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand's accession to the throne. The King is a jazz fan and this will be celebrated by a performance from Juliette Kelly, a leading UK singer.

The festival is great fun in the sunshine. For one day every year, Battersea Park is transformed into a Thai village. Dozens of stalls serve hot food, Thai drinks, souvenirs, crafts and fresh fruit and vegetables. Whilst exotic entertainment is provided by Thai musicians, dancers, martial artists and performers. A raffle with great prizes will also be held.
