  6. Hi Rocketmanbkk, i stayed there in April 2011 and was upgraded to a deluxe room{ for free} and it was great much better than the Amari Boulevade, i ate in the restaurant and it was ok, didnt venture out much because i had an early flight, but the rooms are great and staff are second to none hope this helps, cant remember how much in the taxi, or how far , but it wasnt too expensive

    Cheers

  7. Hi, i had the same problem in April 2011 with Nok Air they would not let me book and pay for my gf to come from Sakon Nakhon to Bkk, because i booked online, paid with visa, but the visa had to be shown to them at the Airport, the only way is to send her the money and book her own flight, its not about the ID card its the way the flight is payed for, she will still need her ID card but thats isnt the issue

    Cheers

  8. Thanks Lopburi3, have you any idea on the cost for visa and stamp at Laos, they have told me that it is perfectly legal, "The paperwork that we provide does not imply that you will be an employee of the company, but specifies that you will be a potential investor in Thailand, with no obligation to actually invest funds during your stay in the country"
