  1. Hi , Crossy, dont worry about the systems the you see on some sites, you dont need those at the moment, you just need to start with a simple system like i sugested., and it works a treat and you dont need lots of complicated stuff and when it rains just pick it up and move it under cover, to easy, what i have sugested is called "Flood and Drain" very simple and easy and you wont get in to much trouble, and will get a nice result

  2. Loong, it can be as complicated or as simple as you want to make it, for you to learn. start with one plant of your choice and go from there, i started with 1 tomato in a 20 ltr bucket and a 2 mtr lenght of 25 mm pvc pipe for the stake 30 years ago and still use the same system today, so its not that hard, if you want any help, pm me, its not that scary!!!

  3. Hi Loong, you could always try a small simple hydroponic set up if you have the water, just a basic manual system would not set you back to much, and you could improve your soil as you you go along

  4. Hi, can any of you guys give me some infomation on leasing a small parcel of land, how is it done , is there a min and max term, and what is the going rate, i know that is a ' how long is a piece od string' question, but some some basic ideas from various locations in Isaan is all i need, having good quality water is important, if that is possible, something like a small house on a couple of rai would be good

  5. Thanks, necronx99, what i am looking at is a little more up market than a bamboo structure, and i dont want to spend 1million tbt, what i am thinking about is like a shed built 20mtr L x 7mtR W x 5mtR H, and sheeting it with polycarbonate roofing and walls, and have bug mesh in spots for ventilation, do you have a website in thailand , that i could look at, do grow in a one?

    cheers

  6. Hi , guys, why not think about a hydroponic tomatoe in a 15 ltr bucket with 2-3mtr pvc pipe for the steak, then you can pick it up and move it when required, cooco peat is dirt cheap in thailand , when i get to thailand in the next few months , i will be setting a small farm doing hydroponic , hard to get vegetables, if all goes to plan, fingers crossed, and will bring with me the type of tomatoe i grow here in Aus, i grew a tomatoe this summer and got over 20kg/plant with the simple bucket system i used.

    Thanks

  7. Hi, can anyone advise me if there is shed manafacturers in Thailand, like in Australia, i want to get a shed built like a ranbuild with a concrete slab, with C section and Purlins and poly carbonate roofing and sides to let the light in, for a hot house for hydroponic vegetable production, i don want a normal poly house because i may want to use it for something else in the future, can someone tell me what is available and a rough cost.

    Cheers
